Report a phone call from 801-432-2126 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Wrong Info| 1 replyI got the same call today while at work on my cell, which had a blocked number. They told me that I had won a prize, couldn't understand what she was saying. I know that it is a call center because the supervisor came on the line afterward with the regular list of questions. They identified themselves as the Federal Financial Group. The supervisor claimed that they were simply a group trying to get their name out there. Calimed that they are not trying to sell anything. They were very insistant. They asked me my name and I told them I wasn't giving out perosnal informaiton on the phone. When she insisted, I just gave her any name and the wrong address. I don't like it when I say no, and they insist. Rather than be rude, I just sent her away thinking that she got what she wanted from me. Lol!

- Paul replies to Glomo SchlupinDon't be an ignorant bigot; this call has nothing to do with Mormons. It's a overseas call center connecting through a UT number. Grow up!
- NMThis "federal financial group" called me to tell me that I had won a trip and they would be sending it to me next week. The man on the phone said he just had three questions to verify that I was old enough to qualify and was not underage. He then asked how much I make a year. I told him that has nothing to do with my age but he kept insisting saying it was very important for me to tell him. After saying no four different times he got upset and started to yell and asked a fifth time saying he would not sell the information. I refused to answer again and he got mad and hung up.

- ToddlerDaddyI received a call from Federal Financial Group telling me my number had been selected for a free 5-star hotel stay. I was then asked the verification questions and then we got to the part where the certificate for the hotel stay would need to be delivered by one of their representatives. When I balked, she said that I could meet the representative at a public place if I wanted. I declined and she hung up. I wouldn't say that this is a scam. It appears to be an appointment-setting technique for the representative/salesperson to begin their pitch when they deliver whatever gift that was promised. I agree though, that if you are on the DNC list, you shouldn't receive these calls (although an earlier post said that out-of-country call centers don't have to adhere to the list - I don't know if that's true or not).

- theonlyone| 3 repliesWow. The only ones who are missing out are all of you who can't see past the qualifying questions asked by the telemarketer. Have any of you actually sat down with an FFG rep and heard how they're trying to help protect your financial future against the insanity of the unfolding economy? By the sounds of the posts above, no.
FFG is offering a very strong financial tool to protect against loss of life, while simultaniously setting up a tax free retirement plan. Could someone please tell me what is wrong with offering an insentive - a scratch card - to get the chance to sit down with you and offer to secure your financial future?
In truth I hear ZERO complaints hear regarding FFG. What I hear are peoples disliking of telemarketing. Be sure nit to confuse the two.
I would recommend that if you receive the call again, to give up 20 or 30 minutes of your time and see what FFG can offer. - anon replies to theonlyonetheonlyone,
I'm very uncomfortable about allowing someone into my home to sell me on items that I already have. Is their goal to replace what I already have? Your company calls us we did not offer for them to call us! A lot of us are on the Do Not Call list and when we get a call trying to say, "You won a scratch card" It's like, "OK What are you all trying to sell me?" Then be told, "IT's not a sales call, but we want to bring someone to your home." It's like were is the catch.. I declined to have a visit, as I already have Life Insurance, Home insurance, Car Insurance as well as a good 401K program and numerous other items for our retirement. What you don't see theonlyone, is many of us are tired of the run around of "We are not trying to sell you something." But yet all or majority of the people posting here are on the DNC list and we still get pestered with phone calls from companies such as yourself trying to state "we are not trying to sell you something, but in fact you are."
Sorry but it has to be said!! - theonlyoneAnon:
I don't work for FFG. I own a policy with them. That's why I speak so highly of them. They showed me a much stronger way to have MY money work for ME. It's great that you have your financial portfolio in order, but could it be stronger? Probably.....right? If you take the time to explore AVIVA's Indexed Life Insurance, you'll see what I'm referring to.
Again, just to clarify, your complaint, as with most here, sounds as if it's voiced at the methods empemployed by telemarkers, NOT the financial services offered by FFG. Please be sure you distinguish the difference between the two.
If you feel you're being contacted against your wishes, then you should not be waisting the expression of your frustration here, instead, report them to the Attorney General, or the appropriate authorities.
Best of luck with that 401k.. ;) - AmberI received a call from this company just a short bit ago. She rattled off information about this scratch card and the prizes that we could win and wanted to verify our physical address. I kept asking her questions about what the scratch card was for, why they wanted to send it to us, why they needed all that extra information, etc. She got confused and sat there silently for a minute. I asked her to repeat the name of her company and I googled it as soon as she said it. The first thing that popped up was the scratch card scam and that they were trying to sell insurance. I told her that we were set on insurance at the company and that we had no interest in receiving anything from them. She laughed and said that she wasn't selling anything and that she just wanted us to get the prize. I told her that we weren't interested and that she needed to remove our number from their list. She abruptly hung up on me.

- IT'S MEI also receive this kind of call. They encourages me to accept the gift certificate which is stay good for about 20 different locations across the US and MEXICO. At first I was really afraid because maybe I will be the one who will pay for the trip but when i found out that they are a new company I realize that they are just trying to promote their company's good name since they will be expanding in almost all state of America. It's not bad to talk with them and accept the give-away that they offer to us.
Just be a GOOD LISTENER, and ask them if you are confuse or have any doubt about what they are doing. BE CONSIDERATE AND OPEN-MINDED. You'll never REGRET it.- Call type: Non-profit organization
