this is the message i sent to federal financial group on their website-------your telemarketing services have been calling 2 or 3 times a day about some scratcher program. this is my business and i have to pay my employees to take these unwanted and annoying calls. sounds like i need to get your legal department and have a discussion about harassment of my employees. the numbers being called are not listed or advertized so you are spam dialing.

Received a call regarding a scratch giveaway and $2500 cash, tv, etc... giveaway.  The caller wouldn't let me put a word in at all and when I mentioned "I can't help you due to potential fraud" he quickly hung up.

East Indian Telemarketer calls telling me my number (work number) has been drawn, I've won, etc etc.  Asks a few questions to determine eligibility, and to find out who they called, then they set up an appointment to meet with a financial advisor.  The promised prizes do exist, but aside from the cruise, there aer a total of 9 (3 each) of the better prizes.  The cruise is bogus because while it's "free" you have to pay 215 per person, send it in first with a reservation request, and just basically get ripped off!

A woman called our firm and introduced herself as Allison. She went into an introduction speech, and I stopped her two minutes into her script to ask "how can I help you?" She kept saying "ma'am, I do not understand you" in a strong foreign (asian?) accent. Well, obviously you are not American, and you probably aren't calling FROM America, and yet you want to work as a telemarketer calling Americans when you cannot understand us?! Really?... She tried selling me something - something about a scratch off card - but honestly, I couldn't even understand her with her strong accent so I hung up. Telemarketers- it's bad enough listening to you endlessly talking to us on the phone, trying to sell us something, but when you throw a person on there that can't even speak English, your telemarketer will no doubt be hung up on. Obviously this company a scam. And if they are smart, they will take us off their calling list before we sue them. But then again, they probably can't read either - I'm sure the scratch offs just have pictures. Right Allison?

They called me from an 801 area code as well. I told them to take me off the list and she persisted. Then I hung up...they called back twice. A different Indian guy this time and I could hear the previous woman laughing in the background. I think I was on speaker phone. So I asked how the whether was in  Delhi and played around a bit. He finally hung up. Total scam. He gave me their toll free number 866-577-2945.

Don't be foolish and give these people any of your info. Companies don't give away $2500 just because.

I work at IMS .. It is a legit company doing legit business and te people that work there all speak English. I havent met anyone with an accent.
It isn't solIciting because we do not need nor ask for a credit crd
number. We get information from local businesses and communities in the areas we call.. You do wi
An actual prize and we are not from India. IMS is the least of your worries and those of you who claim it's a scam are also those of you who have never gone through with it...

I got the FFG call this morning.  The telemarketer was a pleasant lady with a Spanish accent (but was easily understandable).  When I have time to spare, I try to keep telemarketers on the phone for as long as possible, figuring that this is the best way to harm their employers.  We covered the three qualifying questions, but I hedged about giving her my name.  I repeatedly asked how it could be legal to call me since I'm on the do not call list.  She wouldn't address, just kept saying that it was not a scam.  I think I kept her on the phone for 15 minutes.

Fascinating to see the FFG employees, sock-puppets and shills posting here.  I would like for them to tell my why FFG and people working for them violate the do not call law, and why anyone would do business with a company that uses such illegal practices.

Be  nice to the callers (if they are nice to you), but keep them going for as long as possible without giving away personal information.  Then, file a complaint with the gov't at https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx .  These are the best legal ways to hurt Federal Financial Group.

Some light Googling, and it looks as though FFG is related to World Financial Goup, run by the same person (Rick Dixon).  From the employee (insurance agent) side, it is a multilevel marketing "pyramid".  Illegal phone calls to drum up suckers so that they can be sold insurance by MLM dupes. Nasty!

They call every week or so. "Federal Financial" with an 801 area code is what I see. I always ask to be removed from their list, to no avail.

I received a call from someone saying they were from the Federal Financial Group, but caller ID said 360-227-4619. Stated the same crud as they said to everyone else. I told them twice I wasn't interested in participating (they said they had 3 questions for me) and they kept giving me the, "We're not selling anything" spiel. So I finally said very slowly "I. am not. interested. in participating." I think I scared him (lol) and we disconnected the call.

Bahama cruises are not what most people assume.  First, you have to pay your own way to the Florida port and back. Second, the Bahamas are only around 90 miles away, so your 'cruise' is just a boat ride for 6 hours or so, and it's more like a ferry ride than any luxury ship. Third, you'll likely be staying in a no-name motel in a not great part of town.  This scam predates the internet.  It's legal in the sense that you actually get the product, but it's fueled by images of large luxury liners plying their way to exotic Caribbean destinations. People who live near all this in Florida have no illusions about the reality, but the rest of us out in East Podunk typically don't have a clue. Don't waste your time with these people - see a travel agency if you want the real thing.

If they had such a great product offering, they would just tell us what they were selling and ask if we were interested instead of giving us some run around about a prize.

I don't feel bad lying to them since they are lying to us about not trying to sell us anything.  "Jim Brown" told me very clearly that the call was NOT a solicitation.

Even though I told him I was in the lowest income bracket, he still set up an appt. for me at the local Starbucks (since we have four pitbull dogs that don't like strangers.)

Maybe I will get a cup of coffee out of the deal!
