- You're the idiot replies to Do not give your info!Actually you are incorrect - not all debts are reported to the credit report - Also, Williams & Fudge does not buy debt - they represent colleges and universities. - Verifying the debtor's info is just that .. verifying them .. has nothing to do with reinstating anything .. you are a moron!
- who's the clown? replies to MarkMark, your son is an adult right?? Then of course the company isn't going to discuss his business with you. They wouldn't do that to you either. It's pretty sad when parents don't at least get the message to their children .. W&F is not a scam, they are an agency. Also, we don't call people names.
- hey y'allthere's this "new" invention on most cell phones now, it's called call blocking, whenever i get an unidentifiable call--- it goes into my call block list on my cell phone, PROBLEM SOLVED!

"Andrea" called MY OFFICE MAIN LINE from 803-326-5032. She had googled my work contact information and was calling to ask if I had any information about an ex spouse from FIFTEEN YEARS AGO. She was very polite, but this was a highly unprofessional and desperate thing for a collection agency to do.Caller: Williams and Fudge

- HelenGot a call on my cell phone today asking for my daughter in law. They wanted another number in which to call her I told them I would be happy to give her the message. When asked if I could tell her what is was about they said it was personal between them and her. That's fine but why am I getting the call she has never used by phone for anything. We live in entirely different towns. The one I was lucky enought to talk to said her name was Christina Burris, this number went straight to her desk, she didn't answer so I hit 0 for operator, this guy said he couldn't tell me anything not even the type of business they are in. When they answer the phone they only say hello or may i help you. But he too wanted to know all about me. I tried searching them on the net and found nothing.

- PamI started receiving calls from someone who was asking very personal information but would not identify why they were calling. They informed me that they sent me a letter -- which I have never received. I told them once I receive the letter and know what this pertains to than I will talk to them.

- No Way replies to payurbillNow that I know who you are I'm going to eat your dumb @$$ for breakfast. I don't owe any student loans as VA paid for my undergrad & law school 100% so I had no need for student loans but yet you had the nerve to call me. You effed with the wrong person. You all will be paying me big time when I'm done with you & you can take that to the bank especially since I record every single call that I receive.
Rule #1 NEVER believe a word a filthy debt collector says. They are liars who try to collect debt that is usually not valid any longer. Contrary to what this POS says they do in fact buy invalid debt for pennies on the dollar hoping you are stupid enough to answer your phone or verify your info which then moves it to the top of your credit report which means another 5-8 years on your credit. Most experts and Lawyers like me will tell you if the debt is more than 2 years old DO NOT touch the debt. It moves it to the top makes it look new & valid & thus putting your credit score down. If you don't believe me, Google debt collector's illegal tactics and then Google your state and my rights regarding debt collectors. So it would look something like this CA + my rights + debt collectors. You can also put quotations around what you are looking for to return criteria with those specific words or phrase.
Rule # 2 NEVER EVER deal with these scumbags. If you wish to pay your debt, deal only with the original debtor.
Rule # 3 install an app called Mr Number or set your smart phone to block said call. You will be given the option to send to VM or answer and hang up. Set it to hang up on it & set Mr Number to not notify you when said # calls.
Rule # 4 sue their ass. Their practices are highly illegal contrary to what this lying scumbag debt collector says. Refer back to rule # 1.
Finally- I must point out how s/he claims to never call people names but sat here calling commenters idiots because we never call anyone names EVER again refer to rule # 1 POS debt collectors ARE liars & unethical. Never believe a word they say and whatever you do don't deal with them only the original debtor. If everyone would follow this, debt collectors would go out of business which is most preferable given what POSes they are. - Stopcallingme! replies to CollectorIt is not my job to "...get the message to the person we are trying to reach". Do it your damn self!
- mogilb replies to AngelaVery foolish to give them all that info; that's just what they want...enough info to bug you forever!!! I never answer from anyone I don't know!! Period!!
Filing a "complaint" is a waste of time! - mogilb replies to harrassment/scam victimIf you even engage in conversation with these people you're setting yourself up to
be bothered forever!!!
The more info you give them, the better; then next thing you know, they'll ask for Social Security to
"double check" to make sure you have paid your "debt"~~~~~~etc., etc. - mogilb replies to debt collectorAnd you are so full of it, this room stinks!
