I keep getting calls from this number and have stopped answering but they keep calling. I have put them on my block list in my phone and they use another number to call. ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They call all the time. I never answer my phone at work, so after 8 hours, I have 8 new voice mails that are nothing but 18 seconds of heavy breathing or "Hello?" in my ear. It's annoying. And since they don't connect until after my Vmail, I realize they don't know I'm not on the line, but it's annoying to get 18 seconds of male panting.. -_-

CREEPY.

And I can't exactly call them back and tell them to stop calling me. And texting them doesn't work either. I've tried. Blocking them doesn't block them, it just auto Vmails them so I don't see the calls anymore. What happened to the good days of Blocking, where the caller hit a wall? "We're sorry, the person who owns this phone thinks you're an @$$ and doesn't want to talk to you ever again. You've been blocked. Suck it up, Buttercup.".... That's what I want. SO. MUCH.

The Rule with collections (third party) is they can only make contact once a day. Contact is considered them speaking to you(and verifying that it is you) or leaving a message with a person or on a voicemail/machine. So if they call and don't leave a message when you don't answer they can call again, but if you answer and they speak with you they can't call back that day unless you ask them to. Some state laws have stricter guidelines so always check with your states attorney office. I was a debt collector for 9 months but I'm just too polite foe the job and didn't like it.

This number repeatedly calls my teenage son's cell phone. Clearly they are not legitimate and are calling random numbers. I have advised him to block the number.

I called this number just a few minutes ago and spoke to a young lady.  She said "thanks for calling American Medical Retrieval" and when I asked her what type of company they are she said they are a Collection Agency for medical bills.  I let her know that I just got this cell phone number a few days ago and she said she would remove my number.  We'll see if that happens but she asked me to give it a couple of days to be removed from their auto-dialer.   Thanks

Just got a call from them ask to talk to some one other then the caller couldnt understand him for the life of me ask were he was calling from wouldnt say so i hung upm

I had a bill with Quest due to the doctor's mistake. I continually asked them to take care of it and they said that they were. Well, Quest sent it to collections because my doctor never took care of it. This number has called my cell every day this week and leaves no message, so not sure if it is legit or not, but I ended up paying the bill through Quest (so it did not ding my credit, though it may be too late) and I am still getting calls.

Would you, and all of the others engaging in in the debt collection legalities please go away? Reading this silliness is a real waste of people's time. There are hundreds of websites with accurate information about what is and isn't legal types of debt collection. There are government website for consumers that specifically deal with this topic. This site is for people who want to know who is calling them and nothing more. If you are lonely or just want to prove how smart you are, post a link to those sites and leave it at that. Please.

This is NOT a legit debt collector.  This is a scammer.  Do not call them back,  pay them any money or give personal info.  Stay informed.  Stay safe.

I have received numerous calls from them. They claim they are trying to collect on several bills for Lab Corp. The dates for the bills are 2011 and 2012. Since it has been so many years ago I would like to have written documentation prior to making any payment. I also don't feel comfortable providing my bank information over the phone. The man I spoke with said they couldn't mail me anything.  So I told him I couldn't pay anything and hung up.

They call once or twice a day, never leaving a message.  My security protection on my cell tells me it is a scam call out of Canada.  I never answer a call from a number I don't know.  If I am expecting a call from someone, I program their info into my phone, so that when it rings, it identifies them.  I figure if someone I don't know really wants to talk to me, they should leave a message!

I probably owe a medical debt because I can't pay the ridiculous amounts of money that were needed for an emergency surgery that I needed to have. My insurance deductible is $10,000.oo So, I have to pay that plus the 20% of every bill that came after that. How does the US expect a normal person to pay this, even with set up payment plans. Then you get harassed by people like this number 20 times a day. It's enough to send someone over the edge. Filing a class action law suit against these people will not change what is broken. They just move on and start another company. Sucks!

Caller in NC reporting this number...this is not even my phone....I called the number back and no company name given just hold message. The message does state attempt to collect medical debt. Waited the time recording first announced music just played. There was eventually an answer woman names Katrina. I asked who she was calling for and company she was calling from. She did not respond so I asked was she from Americal Medical Collections. She replied, "Yes, I am". I told this person that this name and number (844-505-3328) and this company name were on was on a scam list and to send me a written bill with all billing information and I would look into this further. Then I just hung up. Maybe that will work.

Started calling me at least twice a day. Leaves no voicemail. So I blocked these scumbags.

This number has been calling me for almost a month now every day numerous times during the day.
I have blocked it on my phone so they cannot leave a message.
