    So that Jason is not a liar Victoria.

    But not sure why they don't say anything or how long it will keep happening for.

    Called 4 times on my phone today. Left a weird whispering voice mail. I looked this number up here. I called my mom to tell her about the scam, THEN they called my mom's cell and started asking her for personal info, and she hung up on them. Funny how things work out.

    Citicards automated collections. I just called their regular 800 number & they confirmed this was their automated collections number. Annoying!!!!

    Called me this morning around 8:45. All I could hear was an 866 number to call back. Also, asking to have account information ready when I call. Very suspicious!

    This is Citicards. It's nothing nefarious. They're just trying to collect on a past due payment or inform you that you are over the limit on a Citibank card.

    Got 2 calls already this morning from this number.  They left an automatic voicemail message that asked me to call a 1-866 number or visit the website.  I went ahead and called the 1-800 number from the citibank website instead of the 1-866 number and got everything cleared up.

    It seems to be legit but if you are wary, just ignore the call and call the actual 800 number listed on citibanks website.  That can put your mind at ease.

    Just got my 3rd call from this number this morning but I answered it this time.  The guy on the phone didn't ask for any account information and I told him I had already cleared everything up with a citibank rep earlier.  He "noted" that on my account.  I will update if they keep calling.

    As far as it being Citibank I am not past due nor do I have a balance at all. If it in citibank then it's just one more reason to NOT do business with those idiots. I think it's a scam or some sort. I set my phone to trash thier number whenever it calls - it doesn't even ring, I just see it in the call log as "rejected". You would think that by now some legal action would have been taken againt these people.

    I just received a call from that number. I was having a hard time making out what the lady was saying as her english was terrible and barely pass-able. She told me that my balance has been overdue for 8 days and asked me what the reason was for not paying my balance on time. At first I believed her because I am normally oblivious of my payment due dates and have been caught up with other monetary matters. She then proceeded to ask me to make my payment over the phone and asked me for my debit card number. I was so (stupidly) close to giving her my number. I actually gave her the first four digits then I asked her why is it that I cannot pay over the internet. She said I could but it will take 5-7 business days to process the payment. Immediately upon hearing that, my spider-sense started to tingle and I put her on hold. I didn't recall that online payments take that long to process and so I looked up this number and thankfully I found this website. Then I hung up on her. I feel very [***] for almost being duped. I would have been such a fool and never would forgive myself.
