When I answered, there was an automated message claiming it was from "Citicards."  I finally heard a woman who said "Hello," then hung up.

They called and said they were Citibank. I do have a Citi credit card, however i have been fully paid on the card with a $0 dollar balance for months. I haven't used the card for a while. So yes - it's a scam.

I have no balance on my card so I owe nothing and I do not owe a payment for Citicard. I checked my e-account and there is nothing there.

had a couple calls from them no message left and not really worried, I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.

It's a Phishing Scam - caller ID sometimes says "CITY BANK" or "CITY CARDS" they do not leave a message - when you call back they ask for Social Security Number or Credit Card Number - if questioned they hang up.

DO NOT ANSWEAR THIS CALL. IT SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM!!!

calls several times a day.  caller id says florence,ky.  never leaves a message.. I AM GETTING TIRED OF IT.   I don't believe it is a legitimate company, because if it was , the company name would show up on the caller id.

Very annoying and persistent.  It is Citicards.

I have been receiving calls from this number for the past two weeks. Every time I answer the call they hang up. If it is Citi Bank it is totally ridiculous- I have a zero balance on this card because of all the problems I have had with the company.

I got this call shortly after a scam call from Auto Warranty 516-858-7142. It could be them or an entirely other scam. I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call registry. Anyway, it show's up as "Kentucky Call". They never say anything. I say "Hello?" and it hangs up. I never hear a real person. This is criminal. I'm getting very annoyed.

I've been getting the same thing, all from various numbers. Most of them don't say anything however there were recorded messages saying it was citicards. I called one of the numbers back and a woman answered and said she was with citibank. She asked me for my ss# which I refused to give her. After some wrangling she used my name to get my records. I only gave her the last 4 digits of my credit card #. Here is the interesting part. She told me what my balance was and she was correct and she also had other info on record like my tel # at work and when my next payment was due. If it's a scam how do they obtain this much info? The woman also stated that she had no idea why I was getting these calls. Also their calling my cell phone only which I never gave to citi. INTERESTING HUH

Called this morning @ 9:45am pst. When I answered they asked for me and when I said this is she, the lady hung up.

I have been getting calls from this number the past few days.  I havent answered it.  

IF it is Citi, it is strange because I do not have an account with them

I don't have a Citi Card credit card.  Have never had one.  They called me this morning 2 times.  It only said Florence, KY.  I didn't answer, like others on here, I don't answer calls from anyone that I don't recognise.  Besides, this phone number was only given out for job applications.  Not sure how they got it.

Got this call from 859-283-8071 twice today my caller ID states Kentucky also another number 505-797-6333 that stated New Mexico, so I did not answer.  Heard of some scammers from other countries that call let it ring once and hang up so you will call them back.  When you do call them back you get a huge charge on your phone bill.  I see that is not so with these two numbers since everyone seems to be having the same issues as I do.  Glad this kind of post are on the web.  It get really scary and its nice to know your not alone.

I agree with most, this call has to be a scam of sorts, it is automated for one, and it goes thru this number so it can look legit.  So please do not be conned by these people, all the want is your address and social security number, once they have that your bank accounts and credit cards will get hit within a few months. So as the Social Security Administrantions says "Never give your Social Security number to anyone, especially if it is online or by phone call".

The calls are part of the citicard scam. They try to get personal  info. I get them and don't have, never had, one of their cards. Anyone saying they are legit is a liar and probably part of the scam. They hang up if I answer, but will try to get info from my kids. If no one answers, they leave a message with a number to call back. That # is a recording asking for private info.

Has been calling repeatedly the last week.  No messages left.  Have not tried to call back.

Calls every 3 hrs, no msg left, 7 days wk. Citicards acct closed, have no card, owe no $$$, called Citicards on 800# gave # on call ID, STOPPED 2 days ago.
