I called the 1-888 number that they leave on my voicemail. It was regarding a Goodyear credit card that  I have. They said I was past due on a payment, yet a month ago I spoke to someone regarding the same issue and all charges on my account were supposed to have been removed. The girl inspokento today was very polite and made sure that the charges were indeed dropped.

Turns out this was a legitimate phone call for me.

Is there no such thing as phone etiquette anymore? They call all hours and we get at least 100 calls a day from the same number. We don't have our phone number published and unlisted...  Kentucky is only caller since we use landline for emergencies only. Family and friends do not call our landline as well. It is annoying as hell.  Please report this number to can spam since they are ecessively calling nonstop!! We are also on the do not call list as well. Hopefully the do not call list didn't get published..... UGH

This number 1-859-283-8074 calling many times throughout the day.
We have two landlines in our home due to different household members.
It freaked us out yesterday afternoon when this number simultaneously rang on both phones (that have different numbers) at the same exact time.

We do not pick up numbers we don't know and certainly won't answer this call.
But I sure wish these harrassing calls would stop!!

It is PHISHING scam representing themselves as Citi bank and asking SSN and other private information

Want to make it stop? Do what I do. Tell them that they need to call you back at your new home number. Proceed to give them the number for your local FBI field office and tell them to ask for J Edgar Hoover. I'm sure once they have the attention of the FBI, it will stop.

I got regular calls from this number, along with tons of other solicitors. I finally answered to find out what this call was all about and was grilled by someone looking for someone who doesn't live here, and hasn't had my phone number for over 12 years.  I called back and got a professional person identifying the source as CitiCard.  I asked to have my number removed.  They verified I wasn't one of two people they had tied to the number and removed it from their database.

EVERY BODY PLEASE NOTE -- CALLER ID CAN BE FAKED AND IS NOT RELIABLE. Even on my cell phone there is an app. to change your name and number. Someone could even make the caller ID look like they are the police.   CALLER ID IS NO LONGER A VALID WAY TO PROVE WHO IS CALLING YOU

they keep harrassing me multiple times a day..sometimes i dont even look at my phone cuz they've called me so much! however, i do have a shell acct that i did not make a payment on this month, guess shouldnt have done that. the weird thing is, when they leave a voice message, they dont say anything, just stay on the line for 15 secs then hang up. its so annoying!!

I hate these people, I've never answered any of these calls, and so far they have been calling me five times today! I wonder if I messed with them, what would they say? hahah
like put music up to their ear so they will stop calling!!! hahahaha

THIS IS NOT CITIBANK!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT OR SSN INFORMATION!! I dont know what to say about the other reports but Ive received 3 calls from this number this weekend. When I called the number ON MY CITI CARD to ask what this was about, they transfered me to their fraud unit immediately and had to freeze both my accounts. All they would tell me is 1) this is not an authorized CITI caller 2) there is an ongoing fraud investigation. I know that when you call this number back, it sounds just like the CITI prompts. Crazy. But trust me, if youve given these folks any of your personal information, please call the number on the back of your CITI card immediately and let them know.

i have tried to work with this company but i get more than 10 calls a day from all different numbers.

Citigroup!  I had a credit card with them, was paying on time, even more than my minimum balance, then got a letter stating that because they ran my credit score they considered me a risk (even tho I have had the acct for years and never got behind once!), and were going to terminate my card.  As long as I had the card and knew I needed to use it at times for gas, I always kept it current.  Now, couldn't care less.

get several from this number a day , but I do not have a citcard, owe nothing on macys, nor do I have a shell card...all billsare paid.who   are these people

859-283-8074 called both my cellphone and my work phone, and got hold of me through my work phone.  They identified themselves as Citigroup Health Accounts, and said that I had problems with my Citigroup health accounts.  They started by asking vital information (my date of birth, for reference purposes) and I stated that if they did not have the information, that they were a scam that has been reported both here and other sites on the Internet (thank you for offering this service!).  The caller asked "so you think we are a scam?"  To which I answered "yes".  No further communication occurred, though the phone line was open for another 30 seconds or so.  
Do not volunteer ANY information, as I believe the scam is phishing for personal information to either take money from your accounts or create wholy new accounts from which to take money and leave your credit record that much worse.

I got a call this evening from this number, they gave a name and when i asked what it was pertaining to they said it was buisiness i just hung up. I am not late on any type of payments and did not no the number so i am not talking to these people.

i got yet another call yesterday this time it was a woman and they said it was from TSC..this is outrageous.

they are also using TSC as who they are with

about 45min ago.. got a call, answered hello... nothing - silence.  i hung up.  then just 5 minutes ago.. phone rings again.. i pick up, say hello... nothing... go to hang up, then put phone to my ear.  I hear a female voice.  asking for my husbands name.. is ____ there?  I say no.  They say ok.  appears to hang up.  i decide to call *69.  had to try 4 times before the line was open.  got the number and went on whitepages.com; cell phone number in Boone, KY.  Did I do anyting wrong by saying answering "no, he isn't here"???  then googled and got info about alleged 'phishing' calls.  could they have any other info???
