caller ID logs 10 calls daily, i talked to them and explain im broke and will pay as soon as i can they always say " OK YOUR ACCT WILL BE NOTED" THEN in less then a hour they are calling again.

Like everyone else, I'm getting harassing calls from this number, demanding to speak to my husband.  When I ask to be put on the "do not call" list, the caller just continues to interrogate me about if my husband is available and if this is his home, claiming a "pre-existing business relationship" and insisting the call is not for solicitation purposes.

This company called my prepaid mobile phone 7 times so far today.  They never did leave a message.  When I finally answered, I got some harassing/threatening and trying to be intimidating speech about a citi card of which I don't even have.  I don't have a card with them and I obviously got a recycled telephone number from some deadbeat.  They kept calling over and over and I've just ignored the calls since then because it wastes my minutes.  Maybe I should send them a bill my time and prepaid minutes.  Until then, I'll just add it to the donotcall.gov list but that takes a month or 2 to cycle through.

Got this call too and asked for someone the did not live here. She said that she was calling from City and I asked what city ? She then said that it was personal and they would take the name off the list.

The number is also redirected through Cincinnati, OH so you know that these guys have an alert system in place.

I would also notify the KY State Police and the BOONE county PD to see if they already have that number on file.  If this scam has been going on for a while it is probably already known depending on the number of complaints.

If you think that you are being scammed than regardless of whether you are or not, you are advised to call your local police and report it. This way if your ID is ever stolen you have record of this on file. Without it you will have great difficulty trying to answer why you did not notify the authorities.

I have neither gas card. I use my VISA check card to buy gas.  This is a scam, take it from me.

they call me at all hours of day and up to 8p.m  start again in morning at 7am.  not late on payments.  why do they call so much! they always put me on hold on my own darn phone so to heck with them.

I got Custom Calling Features from ATT just so I could block this number, problem is, the * (star) 60 feature will only block residential numbers not business numbers.

They call me every single day, several times a day, even early morning on the weekends!  I don't have any outstanding late payments.  I don't ever answer the phone when they call. They don't leave a voicemail.  This is so irritating!  Why can't anybody shut them down?

Am getting calls morning,noon,nights from this #. Why can't these be stopped.
Will not answer these call.  A definate case of harrassment.

I get eight to ten calls each day from this number to my cell phone, and now my home phone number at all hours of the day and evening. I don't owe Citibank or Shell any monies. I put their phone number(s) into my contacts on my cell phone and placed a choice of "no ring" from my phone. They are taking up my cell phone minutes, and their is no way I can filter a No Ring on my home number. I can be on a personal or business call from home and get interrupted with the background call waiting which disrupts my business / personal call. I think a good attorney should get their fangs into them. This is illegal and is harassing.

Also getting calls from this number on my cell phone about my Private Label account. Going see if Verizon can block this number.

Yhea, this seems to be a CitiCorp Shell Oil phone number.. Heck, they even called Sunday morning about 7am....

I got 3 calls from 859-283-8074 yesterday and 2 today so far. All of my accounts are in good standing.

I called the police dept. to report it, they didn't seem to care (since I didn't answer the phishing call) and told me to contact my wirelles provider to block the number. BTW I'm in Chicago, IL.

They did not leave a voicemail. Weird, I get these calls too ont he weekends, even on Sunday.

They were trying to collect on a debt for someone else.  According to them, the must have transposed the phone number when entering into the phone system.  Can't stop the calls for 24 hours.

Im not even old enough to have a credit card and they are calling my phone 3 times an hour. Ive never even heard of Citicards. SCAM FOR SURE!

Contact your State Attorney General Office and file a compliant with them. You can also contact your phone service provider and ask them to block those calls from coming through..!!

Contact your State Congressional Senator and bug him as well..!! He or she was elected to service the people of their states..??

Citi Bank does many private label card. When you call back the number asks for your account number, but doesn't specify which card. If you have several differnt private label cards, which one are they calling about? If you have no idea, your private label card is run by Citibank, well....  I think Citibank is unprofessional to attempt contact in this manner. Under collection law, it is illegal to misrepresent your self. A caller ID state Florence KY and not Citibank or what ever card name you have is fraudulant
