Shell credit calls my work constantly for a lousy $40.  For that reason I am sitting on it.

I just received a call from 858-283-8074 saying they were not a marketing company and need more information.  i hung up.  I owe them nothing.

Got a call from this number. I simply ignored the call - after researching it, the phone number seems to be a SCAM.

What you need to do is get on the do not call list. After 31 days no one has any business calling you. Report the phone number to the do not call list and let them no that you are being harassed. When Citibank calls again let them know you are on the do not call list, that you have reported them ask for the person's name and tell them you have no business with thier company and you do not want to be harassed anymore. It really scare the crap out of them, especially using the word "harassment." I let him have it today so we will see tomar if it worked. They were calling four times a day. Do not give them any information or let them know who you are, they do not need to know anything more than you are on the list, they are harassing you, and you have reported them

I think you are right.  We are getting calls and we don't have an account with this company.  I called and I was asked (by a computer voice) to give my account number.  I hung up.  They have called several times and never will leave a message.  Thanks for the heads up.

By law they are not supposed to be calling you at work.  The person who keeps calling me is calling my cell.  We do not give this number to companies so I knew it was not legit.

They have called me several times on my cell phone.  I don't have an account with citibank.  I  just ignore the number for now.  Didn't recognize it at first.  Who are they?

Citibank finances many retail/oil and some furniture accounts.. Collections is allowed, by law, to call on any past due account up to 6 time a day per number on file and each account past due within Citi.
If you want the calls to stop all you have to do is send in a letter with the phone number and reason you want calls the stop, and it will be done!
Citibank services Shell, Exxon, Citgo, Union 76, Conoco, Phillips, The Home Depot, Childrens Place, Zales, Fred Meyer, Merchants Tire, Goodyear, Staples, Office Depot, and more.

Just received a call on my cell phone from this number. I did not pick up as I don't recognize the number, no voicemail.

I just got a call from this number(859-283-8074), didnt answer,went straight to voicemail, and they left a message regarding my Radioshack account. I totally forgot that i am past due on payment but damn, not that late! Its only been 6 days past due!

I get calls from this number as many as three to four times a day,seven days a week. It does not identify itself or leave messages.

Every morning, afternoon and evening my parents receive this call, they hang up if the machine picks up. If you answer it states to hold for an important message. Seriously upsets my parents, especially sine it starts at 8am sharp and never stops all day. All their accounts are up to date.

They use teleamarketing on me saying they were sorry they missed me and to call back.

This number (859-283-8074) calls repeatedly, but never leaves a message. I do not answer calls that I do not recognize on the caller ID, so it goes to my answering machine. The only message that has ever been left (and only once) was "Hello...hello...

We are on the DONOT CALL list and yet we continue to get calls from Kentucky with this number in Caller ID. We don't answer since we don't give out our phone number. It is only for emergency use when the power goes out.  Is there a way to block or report this number?  It is annoying when we only get calls from Kentucky at any hour of the day.  Please stop.

I am continuously getting calls from this "company" (at least a couple daily, even on weekends!). Have not answered, I guess I should next time just to be a jerk and make them mad. Thanks for the help, now I know that it's not from the small winery near Florence, KY that I get monthly wine from!

I get calls from 8592838074 all the time on my cell phone.  When I answer it, they say they have the wrong number...but the calls continue.  I have read that this message comes when people don't pay a citi credit card bill.  I don't have that credit card and am paid up on the one that I have.  I have had this same cell phone number for over ten years.  Should I be concerned that someone has stolen my identify?  What can I do to stop the phone calls?

These people are total nags. They call about every two hours, I don't answer because i don't know who these people are. And when they leave a message it's very vague. Last fall we had another company doing the same thing looking for someone with the same last name, but not us. Finally we answered the phone and told them that it was not us and not to call again or we would contact the police and the calls did stop, but this is a different number but basically the same scam.
