these people have been calling me.  I finally answered it and it was a recording telling me to hold the line citigroup has a very important message regarding my account and then it disconnected.  Jerks.  I don't even have a cc with citigroup or citi anything for that matter.

called my cell phone number, asked for some1 that i didnt know, it was a credit card company waiting to collect a debt of some sort, wtf.

Get a voicemail about my account information.  I do not have an account with this company.  I believe this is a phishing scam.

Another scammer using an old phone list and trying to phish out your info!  DO NOT PICK UP FOR THIS NUMBER!!!

These people have called as early of 8:30am and I continuously tell them, the person that they are looking for doesn't live in my home. Thus, these disturbing and harassing phone calls are coming for nothing.

Short pause, (telltale sign of a telemarketer)  a man picks up and says hello,
I say, That's what I said, Hello.
He hung up. Obviously was not interested in talking to me.

I google and find this site. Awesome!!!

Don't know the number, so I don't answer. They let it go to voicemail but won't leave a message. I will say they are persistent!  Simply relentless - maybe I should put them on autodial for a day or two... say redial every, what, 20 minutes?

don't have a Citi card!

Missed a call from this number this morning so I looked it up on this site.  Received a second call from them and they asked for Brian and I told them to remove me from the list.  A third call about an hour later and I told them that I knew they were running some sort of scam and I was going to call the police.  They denied it was a scam but said they would remove me from the calling list immediately.  It's been about three hours now with no calls from them.  Thanks for the heads up!!

same here. got a call from this 859-283-8074, no id so i didnt answer and felt i needed to search this one and found this whocallsme site. the call was from Kentucky.  if this is a phisher, i wish something could be done as this is unacceptable. if shell/citicards is not related to this, they should want to, at the very least, want to shut this number down for their own sake as well as for their customers. i dont mind paying my bills. i just dont want to fall prey to thieves over the phone.

Calling me at work for the last two days!  Now they can wait even longer for their lousy $40 payment.

These people are calling my cell phone INCESSANTLY. 'm not sure how to stop them, and I plan to answer it next time they call and tell them to remove my number. They are clearly inviolation of calling laws:

This is the gas card division of Citibank.  This number could be calling to pester you about your Shell, Exxon, Mobil, or other retail gas card.  They called me over 55 times in three days because my minimum payment was $16 short and they charged me a $39 "late fee" and are demanding $78 to bring my account "current".  Advice:  cut up your card, pay cash for gas at a small mom-n-pop, and live happy.  Exxon doesn't need my $39 with the tens of billions in profit they already make.

They have called me twice today and left no message. I don't even have a Citi card and have no idea where they got my number! I'm tempted to call them back and find out who they are actually trying to contact at my number.

Who keeps calling me with this number?

I have gotten 6 calls from this company since 9am. They left two "blank" messages. I didn't know who it was until I googled and now am really pissed. I am on the do not call registry and don't have time for their games.

I get at least 5 calls per day from this number and they never say anything except 'Please hold' so I hang up.. It's VERY irritating!!

Just got my phone a few months ago brand new and get calls from this number (859-283-8074) repeatedly through out the day. Very annoying as I have nothing to do with any accounts listed or Citicard. I do not even own or use any credit type cards. How do I stop it? I have not answered it and just ignore it.
