Been getting calls from this number for the last two weeks early hours and morning. Sounds like some freak breathing down the phone.
Blocked it from my landline with Virgin media . Just keeps calling my mobile now. So downloaded an app to find out what number it was because it was showing unknown number now i have this number  8656696

Heavy breathing confirmed on pickup. Havent recieved voicemails because i havent set my voicemail up.

The service i use is Sprint. if that makes a difference. I can also confirm my parents and my girlfriend have recieved the same call, all on sprint.

When i try to call back, it shows the number is invalid.

I am honestly pretty worried about this, but can only hope it is a spambot.

This is an Indian call center that if you answer it will tell you that you have been approved for free government grants that you do not have pay back and all they need is to verify your information like your name, social security number, and bank information. If this were true wouldn't they already have this information.

They've called me 3 times today and just left a message talking about some free vacation. They did leave a call back number of 888-408-1960 I'm going to try and call the number and tell them to stop calling me or take my number off their list.

Im tired of this number calling me could you get it to stop calling me!

If the calls are to your cellphone and it runs apps, look in your app market for an SMS blocker. The Mr. Number app is available to US residents, and blocks calls and texts. I have it, it's free and runs great. If your cellphone doesn't run apps, contact your service provider to see if they can block SMS messages for you.

i read on other posts that everyone who got this call uses Sprint as their provider and more than likely has the iphone 4.  Someone also mentioned that it was a company who gets ur number from craiglists and tries to sell your stuff for you for a fee.  Some also stated it was recording saying their wells fargo account had been compromised.

Ok so I have sprint and also just got the iPhone. I thought it was someone I know who had been harassing me in the past but after reading these posts it maybe something different. The thing is u have to jailbreak your iPhone to use most of the blocking apps. Oh, and when I picked up the call at 3am I heard some fumbling and what appeared to be breathing noise.

I have been called at least 2 times a day for the last three weeks from this number, and today I got a voice on the other end (finally), who said he was from "readers", whatever that means.  I used a few choice words when I told them not to call me again.   I should also mention that I am on the do not call registry AND I asked sprint to block this number last week.  Very annoying.

I tried calling this number with the 210 area code. I get a message it is not a working number.

I am assuming you all have an IPHONE, Most likely through Sprint, well, turns out that is the number that comes out when its UNKNOWN.   if you look at the letters on a phone, 8656696 is UNKNOWN spelled out.  most likely a spam call, or collection agency if you owe people money

I live in southern Fl and have been receiving call from this number 2-3 times a day on and off for quite a few months..I have had my number on the do not call list and have triend to have the number blosked by my phone company...yet I continue to receive cals from this number..I accidentally picked up once and it was an automatic hang up on the other end.  I have tried calling the number but a recorded message of this number is not in service came up.  For a few months the calls ended but now have begun again.  Times of calls vary ..sometimes 2 am sometimes 10 am sometimes 6 pm (those are not exact times..just illustrating that they come throughout the day..I would have to check phone records for exact times)  In any case they are annoying.  Calling phone company again.

I also use Sprint and have an iphone 4s... just purchased a blocking app  (TM calls blacklist)..hope it works.  PS I don't have debt callers calling me so that is not an option.

I just got off the phone with this person and they said that my computer(that has been dead for the last 8 months)is sending them signals that there is an error.  funny thing though, I told them that my computer has been down and is missing its motherboard and hard drive and when I did the idiot hung up on me.  I couldn't make out the company that they were calling from because of his strong accent.  If anybody has anymore info on this number please help me out.
