This same number 8656696 starts calling early in the morning until late at night.  Like everyone no one is there. Trying to block it but is keeps calling.

Per the precorded message:

This number has been calling me "twice" a day, but I do not answer, nor do they leave a voicemail message. Do anyone have any ideas to why this number harasses individuals on a daily bases; What to do about them calling you?

Just got new Sprint I phone & never had this caller before porting the number over to Sprint. Read that this is a spoofing/scam. I will report this number until Sprint does something to block it.

This is a collection company for Verizon wireless

This is an pharmaceutical company.  I have asked them not to call many times but they keep calling several times a day.  I've talked to their supervisors and have asked to get off their list many times.  Tonight they just called again and I said I was reporting them.  He asked me over and over to not report them.  I said I wouldn't until I get another call.

this number is calling me three times a day and pretending a financial firm ,i did not reply any question but looks they try to get your financial info , their excint is like Indians .

Same as everyone else. Call my iPhone 4S twice a day and number is 8656696 .

What I have found from reading these post are these calls are sent to iPhone users it seems.
People have identifed the call as the following:
1. Midland Credit Management - Debt Collector

2. 8656696 spells UNKNOWN

3. 8656696 - Using Youmail the number is 650-283-7440 and is registered to a Scot Herscher. Software Packaging company

4. India person saying your computer is infected with a virus.

5. Someone said that the area code is 619. So the number is 619-865-6696

I am looking for call blocking app for iPhone 4S that blocks the text UNKNOWN and I added 619-865-6696
to my block calls list on Sprint.

I got a call from this number today. Very obviously a call center. Person said they were calling about windows errors on my computer. Seemed odd to me.

I get calls from this number all day, & I am unable to call it back, it tells me the number is incorrect & to try again.

Just got this, no earthly clue. Im an AT&T userwith iphone5.

have received several calls from this number on the iPhone. no message left, i do not answer unknown callers. have reported to "donotcall.gov" as phone number is listed there.

Started 3 times a day the week of christmas- I answered the first few and the line would go dead.  A return redail call gets me a busy signal so yesterday I answered in the early eve and held phone up to the radio for the entire song that was playing then hung up. The call was not ended by caller so I hung up after song ended.   This morning (1.2.13) I answered and did not say anything- A young man said hello (my first name) and hung up.  I am on sprint.

They've woke me up 4 times today and I work the night shift so I'm very angry but they always speak Spanish to me. They called me all the time before but then I stopped getting calls from them for half a year. Now they started back up again. I have no idea who these morons are but I'm about sick of it.
