I get these calls on my home phone every day, often more than once. My wife has FIDO but it's not a pre-pay, it's a regular billing plan. No one has ever answered when I pick up and say hello, it just hangs for a few minutes then clicks off and I can never get through to anyone when I call the number back. It rings and then disconnects. Very annoying indeed. If this is from FIDO I'm changing my wife's plan immediately. I suggest everyone do the same. No message is louder than the loss of paying customers.

If they call my home phone, would they charge me money? coz i found out someone in my family lifted up the phone accidentially. When i went to hang it up, it was 359mins.......gosh thanks

wow, I never knew so many ppl. have the same problem as me before reading this. Yeah, same for me, this number (18663015302)called me a few times, picked up and no answer for the first few calls, now I just don't answer when this number shows up.

It's a nightmare.

I have received many times from this number too and when I answered this call, it hanged up. I thought it was calling from China because the area code of China is 86. I searched this number from google and got to know so many people received phone calls from this number. I hate Fido.

yes i got a call just now at 2:10 pm i'm a Fido subscriber...no person on the line.... perhaps need to call report it to authorities...plus call fido... it made me made when i read above that they could "drain your minutes" wow wronG

I just recieved my first 866-301-5302 messageless call to my Fido cell phone after being a customer for 6 months. Fido had better believe that if this becomes a habit, I'll be checking out KOODOO.

This is a call from Fido marleting team. They offered to me a 80$ if I refer one friend to Fido

I get this call 2-3 times a day but I never answer it.
I did call it back and requested to stop caling my # but they keep calling
I just ignore it.

I got these calls for weeks and I answered it yesterday. He gave me a promotion to monthly plan and I agreed. (I am on Fido prepaid.) He asked me for my student number and my credit card number so that he can check whether was I on a good credit. He said that I would get a text message on my cell phone very soon and the 15 days guarantee would begin.(so that i can choose whether to use this  monthly fee or stay in prepaid service.) Later, probably after 5 or 6 days, I would receive a mail with all the details.Today, I called fido 611 and they told me that this number do belongs to fido and my new account was created. BUT, THERE IS NO SUCH PROMOTION! It gave me a feeling that I got cheated and I cannot prove that. Someone from FIDO cheated me by a fake promotion. What should i do now? End my credit card and get a new account? waiting for 5 or 6 days for that mail?

what is the purpose of writting about this? would it be helpful?

I have " un petit truc " now i tranfert my missing call at the free *611 Fido Services and if you make the same maybe we have a revenge :)

I have been receiving calls from this # 2-3 times a day during work hour.   ARRRR... i just called Fido and they said it will take up to 30 days to stop this #.  30 days!!!!

I have recieved 5 call a day from 1866-301-5302, please stop calling me.  Is Fido aware of this?

I've been getting this call for the past two weeks about 2-3 times everyday.. at various hours. I only just tried the reverse look-up and came upon all of the other posted comments. And I am a FIDO customer too. I will be calling FIDO shortly to give them a piece of my mind.

I get about 10 calls today from this number, everytime I pick up the phone, it hangs up!  

I am NOT happy with that! so I call this "866" number back, guess what, it says, this is a Long distance call, the long distance rate applies; without know what kind of rate it is, I hang up.  (some of the bait phone call you, and when you call back, their charge like 10 dollars per minutes for the call)

Some more checking on the net, find it is a telemarketing company called ATELKA doing the promo for FIDO.

I check the internet again, 866 IS a toll free number, but without taking any chances, I call this number from a Public phone then you will find out how to remove your phone number from it!

So, if you are annoying with this number calling you, call this number back from a public phone, it will cost about $1 for them, but cost you nothing!

REMEMBER:  CALL IT FROM THE PUBLIC PHONE!

I was receiving this 7-8 times a day on my mobile (yes, I have fido). Since I own a Nokia, I went to their support site to find some kind of blocking software (europe.nokia.com).  Long story short, there are such apps: I installed Handy Blacklist (my phone is S60, but they have versions for other platforms too); there are others--look around.  It blocked all the calls nicely.  But then after a bit of that they started calling my landline, 6-8 times a day.  My panasonic handset will block calls but only after one ring (grrrr).  These guys are worse than MBNA. Unfortunately, I think the law is that a company you do business with (even once) is permitted to call.  BUt this has to end.  As soon as there is an alternative, fido is history with me!
