Email fido's customer service and tell them to smarten the [***] up, thats what I did

I have constantly had this number contacting me along with many other 800 and 866 numbers.  I installed MagiCall on my Windows Mobile phone and now have the phone pick up and hang up automatically without even ringing.  It's great!  It provides me with a log of the date and time of the calls too!

I have been me getting at least 2 calls a day for 6 days in a row from them! I am grateful to see some advice about this nuisance!

Is it really Fido? (I am a Fido customer) If it is, it's seriously annoying but I also got a weird recorded message about a chance to win a cruise or something...you know, the scam trip sales call. I deleted the message right away so I can't be sure but I have this number show up on my call list.

I NEVER answer calls from 1-800 or area codes that aren't familiar to me now. I wish I could block them forever though and make sure it never gets through in the first place.

I called Fido Customer service just now to ask about blocking nuisance callers and was told they can't do that. However, some models of phone have that capability (mine doesn't, my husband's does). The Fido woman told me that nuisance calls have to be taken up with the police, not Fido. If I still get 4+ calls/day for the next few days, you bet I will take it up with them.

It isn't just pay as you go customers, I'm on a plan and I get these calls.

everytime they call they only ring twice and hang up, i picked up once, but damn his english is so horrible that i couldn't hear him,

they start off calling me every 2 hours for the past 5 days
and today they called me EVERY half hour

i'm done my contract and i'm just gonna switch provider soon

So, it's Fido doing this to me?  I'm going to file a harassment complaint with the police. Please do the same. I have been in China for three weeks. Nothing quite like getting calls at 2 am and 4 am every night for three weeks.

I'm a Fido costumer as well and I started getting these calls, no one talks at all.  The people responsible should be rounded up and shot.

Aha!! It is this sucker thats makes me pay for the damned 3 year contract
as well for a cellphone w/ Bluetooth Jabra headphone they claim to sell it as free ($0)  Be careful

For example:
A telemarketer calls you up asking about you customer's satisfaction
and offers you a free Sony Ericsson W300i phone for $0 but theres some strings attached: you will have to agree to a 3 year agreement and the new number is already activated.. (you don't even get to choose the number) if you wanted to cancel after that, too late.. you will be punished with a hefty ECF fee ($400 MAX). This is one their sneaky tricks..

So much for wicked telemarketing schemes..I am outraged by the whole sour deal here and feel taken advantage of.
I can only tell you DO NOT GO WITH FIDO IT IS A SCAM!!!

Go away Fido!! Is there anyway to bring those culprits to justice?

this number has called me twice already, when I pick up their's music in the backround as if I'm on hold and then someone picks up and hangs up. Very annoying

I have received calls non-stop from this #. I have called Fido and they said that they had to fill out a form in order for me to stop receiving calls. It can take several weeks before the form is processed and for the calls to stop. The calls I get are just hang-ups.

I suggest that you add your cell phone number to the national Do-Not-Call telemarketing list and that you contact the authorities if Fido and the DoNotCall list has had no effect.

I am going to personally take them to Small Claims Court for damages. Anyone can do this but it is time consuming. You don't need legal representation for Small Claims Court so go ahead and claim the maximum amount allowable (it is 7000$ here in Quebec). You must prove that the calls were still incoming after your requests to stop and that you have personally been affected by this infuriating practice.

Just got a call from this number today. I thought maybe it was a free nap time call as it had this sort of relaxing peaceful music. That cracked me up. No one ever said anything at all. Just the music.

Hope it doesn't continue. Then it won't be so amusing.

OMFG !!! Im so tired of these Fu***ng calls !! im so going to complain to FIDO about thiss .. they will not believe it !! and if a have to .. im gonna bring them in court !! im freaking tired of these calls and the best about that (( not reallyy nicee .. )) im not even 18 !! im only 15 and i get these calls !! what is there Fu***ng problem ! they dont have the right to call people at every time of the day .. just to hang up when we answer ! im so starting to freakout !!

this is honestly annoying as hell... I can't believe what Fido will do to lose customers... I'm gonna b*tch at them and tell them why you wasting my time?!?! i'm a student and nothing is more annoying than having a sh*tty call for no purpose distract you during a lecture

I just got a phone call from 1 866-301-5302 but since I do not recognize this number, I just ignored it.  Ahh, the beauty of having a caller ID on my iphone.

fackkk it just called me again too. i even have it on my phone's block list, but somehow it still goes thru!!
i assume theres no solution of how to stop this :(
