THEY KEEP CALLING AND I DONT KNOW WHY

I have received several urgent sounding calls (left on my answering machine) from this number. I have not returned these calls, and I would like them stopped.

IF I CONTINUE TO GET THESE CALLS DEMANDING THAT I CALL BACK I WILL FIND OUT WHERE YOU ARE AND IF I HAVE TO FLY I WILL COME UP THERE AND KICK YOUR IMPOLITE [***]

want to know who this is and why they are calling!!!!!!!

They are a collection company, who is very pushy, they represent Colubia house...

phone number i got from takhar group is 1-800-620-3071. called back and disconected.who are they?

also got a call from 1-888-355-7515.  no name of companysaid. can you tell me who it is.

Been plagued by calls fr om this number, and TAKHAR GROUP--and experienced same as others who have posted.  Trying to bill be for a book I never received, but DON'T know how they got my cell number, and I'm on the do not call list.  So, guess I have to block calls....I don't mind paying a legit debt, but I won't pay for something I never got.  Caller keeps leaving a message on VM which was hard to understand.  2 or 3 days ago,  an actual person spoke to me, tho was very rude when I tried to get info, or contest their claim that I owed this debt ($60 for a cookbook never received?  I don't think so I finally said I'd contact them on line and she hung up).   Is there any respite from this kind of thing?  Or am I just stuck with it? pm

I don't know how they got my work #, but they called me 4x at work saying I signed up for a
book of the Month club.....I don't read books. I told her to take my name off her list and I refuse
to pay for something I never signed up for. NOW, i asked her to verify the addy where these
books are going to, and it was an "unknown" address that i have never lived at...........they said
"oooh, so sorry, we must be calling the wrong person".........ahhh yeah....they need to stop these
unecessary harrassment issues.

It's impossible b/c i never order any book on line, I asked her , could you name the books, and she said she doesn't know, this sounds like a scam to me, what is going on, I did not order any book on- liine, and

This is the number that called me too, 800-service 866-441-5558. she told me to go on this website too.
book spam...

I got a call from the same group but different number 800-620-0371 and they give the same statement that i have to call them or else. this has gone on for months then a call saying i should be decent and return call. gave same name and web site as the others but different phone number.

These people also called me with no name or explanation of why they were calling...I did not respond to their message.

Rcvd call from phone # 800-620-0371 on my cell phone - the beginning of the message that they left was cut off but the message did catch the website address ( http://www.takhargroup.com ) and the call back number of 866-408-8299 - the person that recorded the message spoke very quickly and I had to listen to it 4 times to catch all of the information - checked the website, they were calling for me but I did not click the confirm button so I do not know if the debt is legitimate or not

I keep getting calls from this number.  I will not call them back.  I believe it is a scam.  I have no outstanding bills.

I was used to get so ticked about this until we got a phone recently that I can set to block numbers that I do not want calling me. Once I establish that the call is bogus I just click to save it to my block list. Now when they call it will ring once and then show up as a blocked call. I can still look on my caller ID to see the number that was called. The company will be fined for each complaint so that is the best way to get taken off their mailing list. If I can I take the time to report each call.

everyone should call the president of the company at 519-622-3130 ext 241.. and keep calling him to advise him to call 866-408-8829 as urgent call

Its a collection agency.  Very unprofessional.  With any collection agency, I suspect a scam.  This particular one called our church daily until I called back.  Then they said they had no record for anything at our number.

Given how suspicious this company is, If they claim to hold a debt for you, I'd go straight to the source and work it out.

I plan to report any further calls to our Attorney General
