I have been getting these calls for about a month since I have moved to my new home.  Called back, the lady was nice and said she was asking for Melissa.  Well no one named Melissa lives here now so the lady politely said she would take my number out of her database.  So if you keep getting the calls and it is annoying, take the time to call them back, have them tell you who they are looking for and tell them that the person no longer lives at that number, even if it is you.

It's a collection agency. They are idiots they called me before and I told them I had a dismissed Chp 7 after my wife deaths. And they still call.

They kept on calling my place. I just recently moved, new number and everything...so I called them back and they wanted to speak to someone who has never lived in the apartment before. and they kindly took my number off their call list.

Just got a voice mail from this number and told me to call back.  I couldn't understand the name of the company.  It's a collections company and they are very rude.

Received this call and have no idea who it is.  Stated it was urgent that I return their call at 866-408-8299.  Who are these people???  After reading some of the other comments here, I have no intention of calling them back.  I am going to report this to my phone company.

same thing,automated phone call left on my answering machine.i am going to find out the address and send a cease and desist letter.

I have gotten a few calls from them in the past month and thought they were odd so i ignored them.  They also only call my cell phone which isn't even under my name.  It seems highly suspicious, i definitely wont be calling them back

I just rec'd automated message saying to call during office hours 8:30am thru 5pm est.  Ironically it's 7:30pm cst when they call me.  I called right back and its not a clear message.  But it says urgent call; so if it's so urgent why do they call automation after their office hours?  And if this is a medical collections group then why are they calling me?  I don't have any medical bills, yet anyway!  I really wish someone could resolve this.  I have enough problems not to have to worry about someone else blemishing my credit history!!!!

This company keeps calling my cell number, they don't say who they are wanting to talk to and I have no idea who they are. I can't understand the name of the company. It sounds like a collection agency. This is a new number so I have no idea who they want to speak with, I do know that it is not me.

I have been receiving a call from these people for months!  I've been wondering who they are and why they keep calling me.  I really hate how when they leave their voice mails, it's always cut off in the beginning.  I've read all the comments and i don't have any outstanding medical bills but i think I do have one for BMG Music Group.  Thanks a lot for that, j.  I will probably call them tomorrow morning, during THEIR regular business hours.

I have been getting calls off and on over the past month, the message is cut off when I first listen and says something about legal matters will be taken unless I call tomorrow between 0830-5pm. But when they call it is always after those hours, which makes no sense. I blocked my number and called to see if anyone answered and they call themselves the Takar group of company. Then when you press zero, since the message they leave does not give you an extention and either you have the extention, party you are looking for or zero for the operator, it goes to a generic voice mail. Strange. I did go to the web site, and emailed from an email I use simply for junk (just in case) and gave them no info other than my phone number and told them per the FTC they need to identify themselves, and tell me why they are contacting me, as well as the fact that making threats is against the law. I am currently involved with CCCS with Florida to pay off any of my debts and they never came up, so no clue who they are. Someone mentioned BMG, I had someone try to claim for them over a year ago and I disputed it, and never heard anything back. So maybe it's them? I don't know, I never dealt with BMG and sure hope someone didn't use my info to get merchandise!

Update ** Today I called them,and the woman who answered was very polite and could tell she was in Canada by her accent. She said she would only need my phone number,didn't ask for anything else. She came back with a name she was looking for and that was not me, nor anyone I had ever heard of. I told her that, she apologized and told me she would remove my information right away to ensure I get no more calls.

Suggestion- block your number *67 as I did, call them and ask who they are trying to call. Good luck

This person left a voice mail on my cell phone.  I didnt call it back because I have no idea who it is.

I think I know why they ended up calling me. They called me at my business number. They probably searched for my name online and my website popped up. Lucky them.

So, I called the number and after a while I was asked to leave a message. I left my work number, first name, and my business address. I am sure they will have no problem knowing who I am. I also said this, I know why you are calling and I will not do anything about this over the phone. Send me a bill, I want to see it on paper.

Les, *67 doesn't work when you call a toll free number.

This is a collection company, and in my opinion they are real A**s! They do not listen to what you have to say and make it a policy to talk over you. I hate people like this. They make it policy to treat you as scum! The problem is that they can ruin your credit as they do report to the credit reporting agencies.

I just got a call from them. I tried to call them back and i just got an answering machine. If they're a collection agency, how can I owe anything? I'm freaking 15!

They called during the day and left a message for me.  I called them back and a young lady answered promptly.  When I asked, she informed me that they are a collection agency.  She told me what she was calling for and she was correct.  I owed a company 50.66 that I had completley forgotten about.  She took the payment over the phone with a 5.00 service charge.  She was very polite and professional throuh the entire call.  I would say that if they are calling you, you should talk to them, get your bill paid if you owe it, and they will stop calling you.

Been pestered day and night with these calls....finally decided to call them back and got through to a real person, they were looking for a relative and when i offered to take a message as to the nature of the call, they replied in a snotty manner that due to privacy laws they could not give out any info....when they asked for my relatives phone # i told them the same thing, they hung up on me rather quickly, the lady i talked to was rather rude and pushy.
