I have received 2 'urgent' and 'threatening' messages from this number. I refuse to call it after seeing these other comments so I have no idea where they are coming from.

They just called me, left a message. The message was so garbled I could barely understand it.

Got a call from this company today.  Same message as everyone else.  funny thing is, when i called the number back, it has a strange noise, then nothing, then 2 or 3 rings and finally a voicemail box.  I didnt leave a message and we have no medical bills.  That's one of the "percks" to being married to a soldier-100% medical coverage.

I got a call from 866-408-8299, Takhar Group on Friday,  left a curt message to their nasty threatening message and they called again and left an even nastier message about doing the right thing and calling back.  I called back and got X623, Christine who is very rude and threatened me, told me I would have my credit card charged and hung up.  I called back and got a supervisor named Sutchat? Who is looking for someone with my same name in CA.  I've googled her name and sure enough there is someone out there with my same name and very bad credit.  This is not the first time I've gotten calls from collection agencies for this person.  How she got my number is a mystery, but peoplefinder.com will mix up people and groups and possible relatives like crazy. Now according to some of these web sites, I have a possible relationship with someone I don't know with the same name, bad credit in a state I've never lived in.

When i called they were so rude and didnt want to talk to me said they were calling for my hubs. To make a long story short they said they were calling from columbia house from an account he opened in 2008 i think they are mistaken!

Pure idiots! Called asking for someone who's been dead for over 20 years.  Here is the real information about this "Company".  Please, fight any and all attempts to contact anyone you know, living or otherwise ;).

These people are rude and offensive They called and a recording demanded a return call from m daughter who does not live here anymore and does not pay my phone bill.

When i returned their call and asked a few questions i gathered that this is another iteration of the same company that is listed on this website under the number "8663300651".  They claimed i owed a 99 dollars and changed to Columbia DVD from 2002.  They had old addresses and phone numbers and became beligerant at any request for confirmation or proof of debt.  Furthermore they claimed that i had no time to research or check their credentials, that payment must be made before the phone was disconnected.  These people sounded very suspicious and are likely running scams.

Called this number back. I was told my husband had a balance with columbia house movie club. Whatever!?

This company has been clling for the last two months. I have asked them on sevral occassions to remove me off the list and they still called. Today I politely told them that if they call again that I was going to file charges for harassing. This is rediculous.  What type of collection agency is this and who are they working for?

Recieved a call, did not answer because I don't recognize the number.  No message.

They called me and said that it was a very serious and time sensitive manner.

I've asked this company several times to remove me from their call list.  The person they are trying to reach has never been associated with my number.  Yet, they continue to call....I'm going on 3 plus years now.  If Shari Antrobus is out there...you owe someone money.

Got a call at 8 o'clock at night on my cell phone telling me to call this number, it was very important, but that I had to call back during their business hours of 8-5. It was an automated message, and when I called back the next day it didn't tell me who it was, rang a few times and told me to leave a message, which I didn't.

Same situation here.  We received a voice mail message stating in the most rude tone possible that this was an urgent call and we must call them at once.  I read the information from this site and decided to call them back (otherwise I would not have).  Believe it or not, the lady was extremely nice and as soon as she said who she was looking for I remembered that not too long ago, they called my home number (called my business number this time) asking for the same person.  This gentleman lives in a nother city and apparently is giving this collection information our information?!?!  She kindly said I will remove your number from my list.

We got a call from these dorks too. the number that came up on the caller ID was 000-000-0000. Very short message saying for my wife to call the office of Stephanie Bennett from the Takkar Group. Call back number was this one: 866 408 8299 ext 655. didn't say what they wanted or what kind of firm it was.

I received a call from this number and when I called back a rep answered saying he was with the Takhar group. He asked for the number they had called and told me they were looking for someone I had never heard of. After I told him there was no one at this number by that name he told me he would take my number off the persons account so they would no longer call me.
