Second week in a row that I've gotten a call from them.  First week I unknowingly answered, with no response from the other end.  This week I knew better and just ignored it.  Reported them to the Canadian DNCL offenders last week.

I get these calls all the time. the info I get on google is very helpfull. I don,t answer any calls that start with 877,800,866. until I check the number on google. If the number is garbage I write it down on my do not answer list that i keep by my phone .

Weird, wonder if one of my friends added my number to spam..(lol) not the first time this has happend? How can u stop it?

Do Not go to Canada's National Do Not Call registry. I did and got many times more calls. They sell the list to companies all over the world. The list is then used to call you for another country where our laws do not apply.

After calling RBC and complained about these harrassing calls, RBC told me to call a number to get me off of thier call list. Its a joke, they still keep calling. The last time they called I answered with 'who the f@#K is this and how did you get my #" Then I ripped the chick on the other end a new azzh*le. Hopefully they won't call again.  Some how I doubt it.

It is really annoying nowadays, lots of similar calls and government is doing nothing. It is shameful!

Go into RBC tomorrow and close your bank account. Just move it to a new bank. Do tell them why.

I have THE solution for ALL (or at least 30) unwanted calls!  My local phone company's "Call Block" was worthless.  It wouldn't block political, out of area, or "non-profit" calls.  I found out about the Panasonic KX-TGA641 cordless phones.  You can put ANY number:  local, long distance, political, etc. in the phone & the call will be blocked.  The best part is the unwanted caller will first get a busy signal & then their call is disconnected.  No muss...No fuss!

I just received a call from this number.  I didn't answer and it went into voice mail.  I could hear someone breathing and then the voice message got strange. The woman said "Come on it put it out, get the prize, come on drop it drop it".

I know, weird, but that was the message.

To Mikes comment 14 minutes ago. I got a similar message from them once. Made me laugh, sounded like the person was playing a computer game while waiting for me to pick up. Their software is horrible in recognizing voice mail.

I'm on the national do not call registry, for me it worked perfect. Not in this case though as this company is exempt. In my case it is RBC that is responsible as they contract out the calls to them. As I am a client of RBC it is the same as RBC calling me and that is allowed.

Recently I've been getting calls from the "BELL TV promotions center".  I called the customer service number and found just enough errors to make me think they may be running a fraud.  I'm in ontario.

Every evening I get calls from 877-289-5108. I don't answer them as I don't recognize the number. I'm on the NDNC List, but it seems this one doesn't comply or is from out of Canada.

I let it go to voice mail, but one of these days I'll answer and let them have it. But that solves nothing.

Very irritating.

Received about 25 calls from this number over the last two weeks. Trg company? my spouse answered the phone last week and they told him it was about some insurance for him he did't give them any info and told them to talk to me..Tonight I answered and it was someone calling for my spouse from the Royal Bank about what I don't know. I asked the chicky what it was pretaining to and she said it was a coutesy call and wanted to talk to him, I told her we were not interested and take the number off of calling list. She said she would call him. I'll see tomorrow if it happens again?

Called back this number 5 times tonight to put my number on the dncl and have also done this in the past.I guess these idiots can not tell time because they said it would take 72 hours for this to happen. Maybe they mean 72 months. Stop Calling!!!!!!

they say they have insurance for RBC banking customers, but called me at 10:30pm.  I am on the crtc do not call registry.  I told him to stop talking immediately, and take my number off the call list. He snarled back, "whatever lady."

I have this SAME problem and it's because RBC gave my number to these people. I have taken my number off their "list" numerous times, and it only results in them calling again.... numerous times a day. The cell phone companies won't help because they say "the network system can't handle blocking calls", although you *can* do this on a landline.
