They were trying to find out information about our bank accounts but wouldn't say where they were calling from.

I just received a call from 877-587-5727, and they claimed I have a payment due for my mortgage. I called my bank ,and they have no record of calling me. Be Careful.

This company called here looking for one of our employees.  I asked why she was calling a business and she hung up.

So what?  What's the point of that.  What do you think you're going to accomplish?  Congrats...you can read a 10K report.

I have a citibank account...this number says it is from CItibank yet it is not...they have no record of it...a scam for sure....calls come 3-4 times a day...

This is the first time that this number has called; I'm sure it won't be the last.  Robo-message about our Citi Cards, which are up-to-date payment wise.  We didn't answer.  If there was a problem with the cards, they would normally Email us.

Called the past 3 days.  When I called Citibank, they said they never called me!

I don't typically answer the number they are calling, but they leave a voicemail everytime. Once a day for a few weeks.

The exact message received is: "It is very important that you contact Citi regarding an important matter with your credit card issued by Citi. This is not a sales call, and you may reach us at 1-866-609-8298.
Any agent can assist you.
Thank you."

I also do not have a Citi credit card.

We are receiving calls form this number 7-8 times a day, beginning at 8:30 am, until 9:30 pm.  Even on Sunday.  My husband has cancer and is in Hospice care and I am at my wits end. We are up all night and I no sooner fall asleep and the phone is ringing from this number. There is no recording, no one there, nothing.  Can someone give guidance to stop this madness????

We get 2 to 4 calls a day from this number. They are calling about our Citibank card because there is a problem , we do not have a Citibank card. Luckily we have a phone that allows to block up to 300 callers so they are now blocked.

citicorp (the real one) doesn't seem to know anything about it - but said do not give out your acct. number and/or social security number!
husband dialed the original number back, finally got a person, told her to quit calling--that we don't want spam calls. she said "we're not spam, we wouldn't call if you weren't past due".....
well, I pay a month in advance (got zero payment due Aug. 8) and the gas cards that are backed by Citi have no balances.

number keeps calling me about a citibank card. I will now b reporting this number to the FCC. I see some ppl r saying the hours the number calls. By law no business can call you outside the hours of 8am-9pm your time, not theirs, doesnt matter if its for collections or not. Please report numbers, they will get fined, the more complaints the more fines they will get.

Total scam.  They tried to get me to give them my card info.  Instead I called back the number on the back of my card and Citibank had no records of calling me.  Watch out!  If you don't trust a call and they are asking info they should already know, hang up and call the number on the back of your card.

I am receiving numerous calls every single day from this completely disrespectful company! It is way beyond annoying!!
I have added them to my auto reject list, so it only rings a couple of times. But the calls come over and over and over again.
Yesterday I called my phone company to block this number so it bounces without ringing at all. Somehow it gets through anyway. My next step will be to go to a Citi Bank and CONFRONT THIS DISRESPECTFUL ABUSIVE PRACTICE FACE TO FACE!

I keep getting call from this number and so I called the number back and its from Citibank.  I don't have a card for citibank card nor have I ever had one.  I am going to block the number , but I'm sure they will try with a different number.
