Whoever constantly calls all hours of the day and night and this needs to stop I don't give personal info nor do I except these calls any longer and they never leave message

It is amazing how many scammers still have your phone number even when you list it on the Do Not Call registry.......

This number calls me 3-4 times a day and it is a recording

its a collector most of us know it is how know who out of work self employed no work or not enough to make ends meet and for those who can afford to watch the news and watch where all the money goes in this country well it is give away free the the ones who get across the border and not get caught interest free loans to start a business and the world wonders why the prisons are full and hard working people take there own life's the cold hard facts no help for the Americans who family's built this country with two to three generations  close the borders stop giving free to the ones who don't belong here and give to the family s who worked there hole life and gave every day and now they need the help

Calls me everyday for atleast 3 weeks sofar..

keeps getting calls from this number on my cell phone.... I never answer calls on my cell phone that I don't recognize.

These idiots were calling me several times a day, finally answered, was some very sweet girl informing me that I was behind on my "American Airlines" card.  I asked for the last for digits on the card and she gave me something bogus that didn't match my card; I told her this is bogus, asked for the mailing address and she said that it was paid online and that they didn't have a physical address (Lol, what a joke: they'd still have my mailing address, you have to give this to them when you apply for card!).  Asked her for the last 4 digits of the SSN, and she refused, citing "privacy issues".  I responded, incredulously: "YOU called ME!!".  I asked who the issuing bank was and she said "American Airlines"; I responded "No, dear...BANKS issue credit cards.  American Airlines is not a bank; it is an *airline*."  She then said it was Citi.

At this point I told her I was going to contact Citi directly; she offered to give me the number and I laughed and said no, I'll be calling the number on my card.  I did, and Citi confirmed what I already knew: my card was paid in full, I have no outstanding balances on any cards, and nobody else had opened one using my SSN.  She also confirmed that 877-587-5727 is NOT a correct Citi bank number and that these people were NOT affiliated with them in any way.

As others have pointed out: were you actually behind on a credit card payment, you would receive a physical mail indicating this, Citi is not going to call you up asking for personal info that they already have...also the Citi rep told me when they *do* call, they will leave a message and give you a valid Citi number to call.  And hello??  These people are trying to solicit payment from someone who's supposedly behind on their card payments on another credit card???  Do you think a credit card company is gonna accept a debt payment made using *another* card?  Not on this planet, they'll take a check, thank you very much; a credit card payment is always subject to chargeback etc. so a *real* credit card company won't touch that risk with a ten foot pole.

This is a scam, pure and simple, and the people on here saying otherwise are obviously shills for the company making these calls.  I would recommend that if anyone calls you from any credit card company about a "debt', you hang up, call the number on the back of your card, and check with them.  Also, take the time to report this number at donotcall.gov, it takes about two minutes and if they receive enough of them, they might actually do something!

I got id caller as show 8775875727 at 6:30 am this morning. I have no idea and why they call me at 6:30 am? It is against the law that any companies call the resident in the early morning or late evening. They called me at 10:20 pm.. that is my bedtime at ten, why they rude to call me for? I called them back, no beep or voice at all.. nothing... scam?

Citibank? Unocal credit card? Wanted me to pay them over the phone for closed account.

automated message calling saying they're from CITIBANK enter my account number when i DON'T HAVE A CITIBANK CARD OR ACCOUNT# constantly calling leaving voice mails everyday... it's getting very annoying... can you please help me block this number or stop them from calling my phone

I continue to receive calls from this number.  They never leave a message.  I don't answer if there is no identity or message left.  Would like to see this stop. Calls come 7 days a week at all hours. Usually begin early (7:30 am) and end late evening (10:00 pm)

This is NOT citicard.  Received a call identifying herself as "Denise at Citi"...calling about my "Shell account".  When I told her I didn't have one, she asked for identifying information (which I did NOT give her) and offered to transfer me to the "billing dept"...told her I would call Citi myself and she offered to give me a number to call the "fraud dept".  I declined, saying I could not verify that she was calling for Citicard since the caller ID simply said "toll free caller"...and I hung up and contacted the real Citicard to report the call for their records.

If we do our own follow up and report these people to the companies the claim to represent, we might actually be able to curb a small part of these calls.

Same thing here. Recording left at least three times a day for the past week, regarding our "CITI" card. We don't have any cards issued by Citibank. I've checked them all. Very annoying and I think I'll turn off the answering machine now. If anyone I care to hear from needs to contact me, he or she has my cell phone number.  If a credit card agency needs to contact me, it already has my mailing address.

It is a collection agency representing clients like Office Depot, Home Depot, Lowell's, Citicard etc. They are attempting to collect as rep's for these company...that's all.

3 calls in 3 days from this number stating it is r/t a credit card issued...that never was.

This number has called me 27 times since 04/17/2013.
Some times 3-4 times a day. Also calls after 9:00 pm.
Calls on Sunday. They usually disconnect before I can
answer phone. It Appears to be harassment.
