Its Citicard that also underwrites Sunoco and other gas cards. I called the number and they told me this information and to send them a payment . . . ooops I forgot. Check your other retail cards to see if Citibank or Citicard is the lending institution.

it is from Citicard probably wanting to notify you of possible fraud on your card

This number is disguisting ..........all of the above complaints,,are "Ditto "with me . I use this line for the Association I am involved with ..  I do hope someone comes up with a way to de-rail these morons ..

Answered the phone after called my number many times.  Wanted to talk to my wife and wouldn't tell me where she called from; just said it was personal business.

Guys, this IS Citi calling. Although the message is crappy, I've realized that I have amount past-due. Respond to them!!!

I get calls all day long from this number. I've answered and spoken to a couple of people. They can't tell me why they're calling me since I have never had a CitiCorp credit card or anything with this organization. I've told them to remove my number from their automatic calling system but so far they haven't done it. My next step is to call my state's Attorney General and file a complaint.

Wendy, I'm in the same boat as you. Every time I speak with someone at this number they can't tell me why I'm receiving calls since I don't or and have never had a credit card or anything with CitiCorp or one of their subsidiaries. I have written a formal complaint and am filing it with my state's Attorney General to look into it. I would suggest you do the same.

this is an automated call telling me about my citicard which I don't have.  
They call as early as 730am every day of the week

All attempts to call this number result in an automated line asking for account info.  
Since I don't have (any cards) even the one they're asking about,
I don't trust it, eeven if they do claim to be citicard.

This has been going on for the last 2 months

it's citi-cards. it can be in regards to a variety of cards that you may (or may not, if it is spam) be carrying. at first i thought it was bs, and then i found out that it was in regards to a balance that i was eligible to pay off for a limit increase on a ZALES card. i paid it off and then cut up the card because they called me literally four times a day for 2 weeks on end without leaving any type of message, and basically, it was in regards to nothing. and the economy is a little f'd up to be paying a 100% mark up on generic looking jewlery

Says they are from CitiBank . . . want to know about my credit card and want my card number when I call back . . . Anoying as they call 2 or 3 times a day . . . I DO NOT HAVE A CITIBANK CREDIT CARD!

Calls several times a day. Left a message once asking me to call back regarding a credit card I don't have. A scam. Very annoying.

Called it back and it is Citi Cards.  Don't have any thing to do woth the company.

Calls and leave a recorded message for us to call back Mon-Fri and have our account number ready.

Keeps calling our phone. No msg. Try to call back can't get anyone.

This actually does not involve fraud. It's a collection company calling to tell you that your account is past due. They have every bit of info to prove that they are legitimate, I too thought this was a scam.

This number keeps appearing and no one leaves a message. Please stop this random calling.

CitiCards, Zales Card

This number is being calling me every day for the last 4 months. Don't have any relationship to the to that number or who ever use in connection with city card.

This number had been calling me 2-3 times/day.  I have a top credit score & no outstanding debts.  I never answer it but they leave a message each time.  I don't know how to get them to stop - I am have already 'opted out.'
