This number has called my house for the past 2 days i'm a 21 year old man who lives with my parents and are somehow asking for me when my name isn't listed to the home phone number they're calling. it's listed to my parents and yet some how they're asking for me on the answering machine? also they leave no message one day i got a guy that kept saying "hello? hello? hello?" and the day after the message was "Yeah i'm looking for..."then my name, no call back number and they didn't say what organization was calling me. I thought polling services use the phone book so wouldn't they be calling my parents? there is something fishy going on with this number. I Suggest you don't answer it. they'll just waste your time.

The caller asked for my ex-husband who hasn't lived here for 8 years and when asked, told me they were calling the list of members on the Service Workers Union and that he was a member as a healthcare worker.  He was never a healthcare worker, he is not a member of the Service Workers Union, AND his name has never been associated with my current telephone number.  When specifically asked questions to try to find out who was behind the calls, she only repeated "Service Workers Union."  Sorry, I'm not buying it.  When you go to the SWU website at http://www.seiu.org/ there is a big picture of Obama.  NOT a good campaign strategy.

STOP WASTING MY PHONE TIME!!

SEIU keeps calling me, as well as Sal Roselli from UHW, both are recorded messages. The two groups are bickering and both going to great lengths to get members to side with them, including sending tons of junk mail.

I say workers in these unions demand a monthly dues refund until they agree to stop this crap! They're spending an enormous amount of time (=money) and money on this war they're having with each other and I'm tired of being involved.

INCIDENTALLY, this union has not once helped with any individual problem I brought to their attention. Power in numbers my a**.

nobody says anthing
no modem beeps
nothing
i leave the phone off the hook
takes them a long time to hang up
until i get the "if you want to make a call... " message from the phone company now that my line is again free

Called twice.

I've been getting these calls at least three times a day. The name that comes up on my caller id is Johnn Rodriguez. When I answered the call a young woman asked to speak to my husband. She won't stop calling and when I try to call back all I get is either ringing or a busy signal. It is really starting to creep me out. I am doing what I can to try to stop it. Even reporting it to the ftc.

I have been getting calls for a week in the name of Johnn Rodriguez and today I got another call. Once again a woman answered and I told her I was tired of her calling day after day. She denied ever calling me and that led to an argument and I told her if she ever called me again I would take legal action. She continued trying to talk over me and I hung up.

I think I know where they may be getting names and numbers as they asked for me by my legal name; says they are Health Care United, so my guess is they are accessing state files for registered nurses, doctors, etc.  I wonder how many others are health care professionals that get these calls?

I continue to get at couple of calls a day.

This telemarketer called me and said they were from audtioning commercials and stuff.and then they asked for a gurdian and so i told my mom and she answered.They asked for 100$ to be in a commercial and my mom said what?? What commercial? and then they told my mom that she better do it or... and hung up.she hung up frightened

This number calls at least 5 times a day. How do you stop it? If you call back it's either busy or it just rings. It's a real pain in the ass.With mine no one ever says anything it just hangs up.

May have found solution. I finally answered their call when it showed up on caller ID, waited until they started speaking and then I started singing (loudly) the the first line of the National Anthem (not very well I might add). Then yelled "STOP CALLING ME!!!!" It has been three days and no more calls.

Idiots call at 9pm on a Sunday night, no one there - jerks!

I just got a call from these Beasts who's backs are in need of lashing. They didn't leave a message and when I called the number back it gave me a busy tone. These people need to be seriously tarred and feathered and tossed into a lake.

I can't understand why the carrier doesn't identify these fools and fine them for disturbing the peace. They torture the elderly and disturb the sleep of the sick and infirmed.  When one answers to tell them to stop there's only silence.

i called that and it turned out to be verizon conferencing.

called me today reporting they buy anthing from paintings to jewerly to household items........hello I live in an apartment, do they think I have oil paintings on my walls

THEY HAVE CALLED ME EVERYDAY FOR A WEEK I ALWAYS ANWSER AND WHEN I TRY TO CALL BACK NO ANWSER IT REALLY GETTING ON MY NERVES I AM 13 AND WHY WOULD THEY CALL ME THT MUCH UGHH :)

Here's an idea.  Get a whistle and the next time they call, just blow the whistle into the the phone.  Hopefully that will stop them from harrassing us!

877 888 8888 calls several times a day. leaves dead air voicemail. i called back and its a recording saying " the number you have reached 926 4333 has been temporarily disconnected" i've been on the do not call registry for a long time. and i don't give out my cel number at all. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
