I dont know who is calling from this number, i just want to know whats wrong with this number, they did not answer me.

This is the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) calling to solicit support for an upcoming vote - please stop calling me!

Seiu is not the company making all these calls to the first comment. seiu is a training union gor home care aid in Washington state providing in home nursing care to those who would otherwise be put into mediocre nursing homes. From what I am reading this 877/888-8888 is a blind number which I dint really understand but it not necessarily a specific company that is bad.

This number called my in-laws house today asking for me and I don't even live there.  They hung up as soon as my father-in-law said "she doesn't live here", rather than asking for a different number to contact me at. So I then tried calling the number and it rang and rang with no answer and no answering machine to even find out who it was or what company it was.  RIDICULOUS!!!

I don't know who is calling as I don't even let them leave a message.    I just block them with my ole trusty digital phone.   It is annoying though as they love to call at dinner time.   These are the worse because its an annoyance.     They should know that I'd never give them a dime because i don't respond to telemarketers and I don't support any of their political actions.

I seriously doubt that this is their real number as I think who ever is calling multiple times is spoofing.  They must have been doing it a long time, because its on my phone machine and that comes from when I had another phone number.     Too bad, I don't have an semi-intelligent answering machine that would play with them over the phone.

No, if you have the time:   it reminds me of the time some telemarketer called me about buying what he called an investment grade diamond.    I just led him on and kept saying yes, asking questions, and getting him to call me back.  Eventually, he asked me how I'm going to pay for it and I just waited a long while and told him I really wasn't interested.    Ha-ha-ha-ha!      He got all pissed off and said something about all the time he spent calling and talking to me.   LOL!!!    Yeah, likewise.   It was nice talking to you!!!  Sorry, I couldn't make any money for you!!      But, it was an enriching experience for me!     Ha-ha-ha!

This number called my house this morning and asked for my husband.  When I told them he wasn't here and asked if I could take a message, the caller said no, it was a "local political call" and he'd call back later.  Well, I blocked the number on my phone.  Why?  Because the caller ID said the call came from West Virginia and I live in Maine -- it sure as heck doesn't sound local to me!  In addition, when I called back the number, it just rang and rang and rang with no one picking it up. So, I don't think this is a legit organization if they misrepresent where they're calling from and no one picks up the phone when you call back, either.

I have been getting this call maybe every other week,.  I don't answer, and have been able to block the call with my phone.

This number (1-877-888-8888) keeps calling me and never leaves a message. I don't know who they are and I don't know how they got my number

They claim to be from "Local 32J". Obviously some thug-Union.  If the NSA can collect every single phone call from every single American - they why don't thye stop this garbage?

Not just SEIU but a number of places use this 'service' and it is really annoying. Luckily the number is a hard one to forget so I know not to answer it. Never anything I want anyway.

877 888 8888 called 3x on 9/28 & 9/29.  Based on all the comments posted on various sites, I did NOT call them back as I do not want them to know that our number is a "live" number.  We have had to disconnect our answering machine from our landline phone as we are being inundated with these calls as well as political calls, the latter of which were excluded from the DNC call registry.

In addition to these calls, we received calls from Unknown Number on 9/28 and 9/29.

Got a call today from this number claiming to be the Healthcare Education Project.  They spoke to my family and wouldn't leave a message when told I wasn't home but said they would call back.
