can not seem to tex back yes back to that number when going for compertitions and have lost out out a few times

Just sent in my entry for a competition following 'the chase' on itv. the competition stated it would be 1.50 per entry and i have just been hit with 6 consecutive texts -each costing 1.50 each!
This cost me 9 quid-plus an additional text 'STOP' -which I have just sent?
Really peeved that this company should be allowed to operate and steal peoples money so blatantly?
Wonder how itv allow them to advertise so fraudulently?
I await outcomes following this 'STOP' text I sent them?

Hadnt realised I had entered any comp but was being charged £4.50 per week by these b******s so contacted Vodaphone as long time customer and they eventually agreed to refund all charges and block any incoming subscription comms so hopefully problem sorted but it is rediculous that these ppl are allowed to operate in this fashion.

What if there is no number? I have the same problem

Kept getting three text on a Friday every week from number 8828 but then replied with STOP. I think it's worked but they were all premium rated.  Cost loads.

had message through on my phone text code 87000 think they are now working under differant text number text stop to 88288 got message back saying all messages have been stoped

This company have emptied my wife's call credit TWICE now. She entered a pay to enter competition once, they just kept replicating her entry at £1 a go until her credit had gone!!!
CON ARTISTS!!!! Try texting stop is what we have tried!

I have been caught by them too! They got my number off the ITV.com website, so I am NOT pleased with them! They have emptied my pay as you go mobile, which being disabled I only use for emergencies, and I even if I could afford to top it up again I am afraid they will only take more money so I will have to change the number before I use it again I imagine.
How on earth is this being allowed to happen?

Seems I'm not the only one whose number these thieves got hold of from ITV - surely they know about this and are allowing it! Shame on them!

Been scammed like everyone else, have had over £40.00 taken off me in the last three months and hadnt noticed. Really really annoyed. I only entered one competition to win an i phone! T mobile have been really good and have blocked any future texts coming through. Total scam, dsgusting, really angry!!!!

I have recently bought a mobile phone and someone called PRIZEFUN.com keeps sending me messages about winning thousands of pounds.  I do not enter EVER such competitions and I do not know how to stop this hacker getting into my telephone.  Their website does not allow enough time for a message to be created and sent.  Please advise what I should do,  because I suspect they will charge my phone bill in an unauthorised way.  John Wood.

I too was conned by these people, I'm on payg so haven't enough credit to send stop. Joke, if I put ,money on they will take it .

Has anyone ever just refused to pay that part of their bill? Paid your usual contract and then [***] off the rest?
