Report a phone call from 88288 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- AlastairI entered an apparently free draw which seemed to be associated with a major supermarket company. Since then 88288 has tried to debit my account with £4.50 each week for a MintedMobi.com vouchers competition. I never agreed to this. I have tried on numerous occasions to call the number given - 02035030953 - to put a stop to this. The phone rings but has never been answered
- Edward Newman replies to DeborahI have been a victim of this scam. Following an investigation, which included a long conversation with the regulator on 0800 500 212. He explained what had to be done. He also gave me the number of SB7 Mobile Ltd, who are responsible for sending the texts : 0333 00 30581. He even knew the number to stop the texts : 88288. Upon contacting my service provider, TalkTalk, I gave them all the information supplied by the regulator, they in turn said they would block the number 88288.

- Kaz| 1 replyI was checking out ebay and at the bottom of the page it said I had 1 new message. I clicked on it and thought I was entering a free draw by a major supermarket. It wasn't until I had entered my mobile number that I was informed It would cost me £4.50 per week plus £1.50 per text. I was never asked to read or agree to any terms and conditions. How can this be legal. I have tried text STOP but it will not send. HELP

- Alastair replies to KazHi Kaz, exactly the same has happened to me. I have stopped topping up my phone until this can be resolved. Please let me know if you find a way to put a stop to this and I will do likewise.
- Mark Richardson| 2 repliesI have received texts from 88288 stating i have been entered into a competition draw. I have unknowingly be charged £18.00 over a four week period. This is disgraceful why is the law allowing this.
- Caller: SB7 Mobiles
- Gillian KendrewI am getting calls and texts from Juicy Win I want them to stop as they have cost me £18.00 this month

- Blue| 1 replyI believe this comes from SB7Mobile I have been conned into unknowingly subscribing to MintedMobi.com and entered into their scam at £4.50 pw. The Partner Director is Danielle Martin 03301340181 but you are unlikely to get much joy. If you want to see her face put her name into explorer and click onto the link to Linkedin
Your best route is Phone Pay Plus 0800500212 (they are premium rate phone number regulators) and ask them to send SB7 an Email. This company sued them in 2010 and they were fined I think either £20K or £30K
I am still working on them.
I wish you well - Blue replies to Mark RichardsonThere are numerous Danielle Martins so use 'Danielle Martin SB7 Mobile Ltd'
I am surprised Juicy is still trading. If you ring her hold on for an advisor don't press the number for customer services just hang on. When you get through to her minion who is very polite he will tell you she is engaged but persist and she should ring you back or perhaps not after being slagged off or don't bother and just complain to Phone Plan Plus
Any further help please feel free to ask - well replies to Mark Richardsonsounds like you - or someone with access to your phone - has committed cardinal sin of accepting these $0d$ "welcome to our scam dot com" so now you're stuck with £4.50 for each text .... not good, CONTACT your mobile company NOW!!!
- Blue| 1 replyAnyone interested in seeing the Tibunal Decision 2010 against SB7Mobile ?
- Middleman replies to BlueYes I would be interested, yet another victim!
- andrew white replies to Lydia ThomasHi,'Lydia Thomas',my name is 'mr.andrew white' and i recently(18/09/2015)had been browsing an online website, that was comparing 'supermarket vouchers'and which deals and supermarkets seemed to be best for shopping for particular stuff.Basically the long and short was i was/ asked to submit my name and mobile phone number to 'be sent info on offers'apparently',but nowhere was i informed that i was "registering to"nor "subscribing to" any (offers/companies,etc...) from 'ANY' company, and there was no information, other than that i would be sent e.mails with updated 'supermarket offers'Then within an hour i was sent a 'Text' from an 'unknown number'but some company calling themselves "MintedMobi.com", saying(JOKINGLY!!!) "freemessage,"thankyou for joining our 'Weekly Vouchers Comp+£250kdraw,ur numbers are 6,7,13,17,29,31, &Consumer Contract:http://tiiny.uk/pghFQ1". Basically that was the WHOLE text, and by then i had put my laptop away, and as my mobile is not a 'New/Smart'phone i could not check out the 'website link' that was sent at the end of this text.Exactly 1 second after receiving the first i was sent a second text from the same name"MintedMobi.com" saying..."Freemessage: U have joined MintedMobi.com's Vouchers comp + £250k draw for £4.50 per week until you send STOP to 60044. Help? 03301340181." So basically the 1st text saying "thankyou for joining" and then almost instantly the 2nd text saying "YOU HAVE JOINED"!!! And with the 2nd text informing me that i was being charged £4.50 per week until i texted STOP to 60044. Anyway the first thing i did was instantly text stop to '60044' and then straightaway phoned my mobile provider(mobile by sainsburys)to inform them of this text/predicament,and to ask them not to pay any money to this '?company?'and was told that the money had already been taken, but they would 'telephone them'immediately to inform them that i was 'UNREGISTERING'from this offer(that i had not registered to in the first place). But here is the awful bit due,to the fact that right at the beginning i had £4.87 credit on my phone and this was my Monthly donations to "Save The Children" and to "WaterAid",which meant that this month some 'Fraudulent company' had stolen my monthly donation to these two charities who i have been donating to for quite a while each month, and the fact i have a 'pay as you go' mobile phone means i have to go and put money on each month to make sure that there is always enough credit to cover these two payments which obviously now there wasn't.And just to finish things off 'The Text' i had sent to '60044' to Unsubscribe from WHATEVER it was I HADN'T subscribed to in the first place had cost more than £0.30pence or whatever it was that i had left on my phone(THE DEVIOUS GREEDY MONEY GRABBING,and basically,"STEALING THIS MONEY" from two well deserving charities,GITS). I have 'tried to',i say tried as i get the impression the e.mail i sent went to some 'offshoot' and not to "MintedMobi.com",to get into contact with this company(also every time i have tried to 'e.mail them,i am informed that the address is wrong, and i have tried quite a few variations) and tell them that i had not 'SUBSCRIBED TO',nor wanted to have anything to do with this company, other than have them 'REPAY' the money that they had taken that 'WAS DUE' to be donated to 'Save The Children'and WaterAid'. I told them that had i not been reimbursed by this coming monday lunchtime(21/09/2015)that i would be getting involved with 'OFCOM' and any other 'REGULATORS' of such FRAUDULENT and SCAMMING companies ,in order to 1.report them, and 2.hopefully make sure that other people are not stolen from. Thanks lydia for reading such a long text. What annoys me the most is the fact that the money was due to be donated to the 2 charities, and will not now be made,as i am unfortunately on 'state benefits' due to long term 'ill health',and do not have £sss to just throw about. please do get in contact with me if there is anything you would like to ask me,or any other information you might want/need from me.hopefully my e.mail address should be sent with this 'reply' but if not it is (nickand21@mail.com). again thanks for listening to my annoyance at such 'GREEDY MONEY GRABBING GITS!!'. yours mr.andrew white
- andrew whitethe money "MintedMobi"STOLE from me was due to be donated to 'Save The Children' AND 'Wateraid' the money grabbing gits.what this company "mintedmobi" also "juicywin" and "Prizefinder"or something is doing is STEALING,THEFT,AND FRAUD. sender is "60044" also "03301340181" and their socalled "CONSUMER CONTRACT"link is:(http://tiiny.uk/pghFQ1).please PLEASE SOME "AUTHORITY"stop these type of PEOPLE from STEALING/THEIVING,and COMMITTING FRAUD,FROM INNOCENT PEOPLE AND IN THIS CASE FROM STEALING THE "2DONATIONS THAT WERE DUE TO BE "DONATED TO CHARITY"WHICH WON'T NOW AS I AM ON STATE BENEFITS AND CAN NOT NOW AFFORD IT.

- jacky replies to Angry Honest Jo| 1 replyHow does this company get away with this type of scam, I'm on limited income and got stung by these evil people for £20, I though I was entering a genuine Tesco voucher competition, and each time I sent stop to try to unsubscribe they just ignored me and continued to drain my phone of every penny, surely this is a case of gross misrepresentation at best, and fraud at its worse, why are they not shut down
- jackie replies to Lydia ThomasHi ive had the misfortune to fall foul of these scammers, I'm amazed they are not facing charges in court they are taking money by false representation yay no one does any thing to stop them
- Anonym replies to BinConnedI also had the experience of being ripped of by these despicable evil people, why is nothing bein done to put a stop to them they are misleading people at best, and creating fraud and mayhem at worse,

I am sick with worry, i cant get to unsubscribe and i could never afford this. They said Free. Asda vouchers, sainsburys and tesco. Seemed real by using the store names.
