- Roscoe911I got an account with them. Called them two days early to let them know that my direct deposit was going in 3 days late due fraud on my checking account (my direct deposit had to be re-routed to my new account combined with Presidents Day Holiday). They still called me everyday and everyday I explained the same circumstance. What a waste of time.

- angryladyWe got our car a few weeks ago. Not long after we get calls from these people asking (in terrible English) for my husband and knowing all about our car. The lady I spoke to spoke very fast when telling me why she was calling and it was very hard to understand her anyway. I had to look the number up online to find out the company name. So I called our dealership about it and they hadn't heard of them. And just a while ago I spoke to a rep from our finance company. They do not know of these people. We have received calls almost every day. I filed a complaint with the Dallas BBB. Today I told them never to call me again as I know we aren't financed through them. I now have their number blocked.
Also, when I called the number back, the first thing it did pretty much was to prompt me to enter the last 4 digits of my SSN or birth year. I don't think so. That sounds very suspicious to me. Especially giving it to the computer and not a person asking for it. (Not that they didn't try to get our SSNs by asking)- Caller: Santander or Drive Finance/Financial

- FYI| 1 replySantander calls under different numbers incliding Drive Financial. They bought our car loan from HSBC---what a nightmare---these people are impossible to talk to and will call you non-stop the first day you are late. Their website looks like a 5 yr old drew it and they charge you for every online payment made so it's crazy to pay everyweek to catch up. I turn my ringer off now. Do not ever set up payments on phone---they will still call you regardless.I once had a payment preset online but then scraped up the money to pay earlier---made the mistake of answering the phone and let them talk me into making the payment then as they promised to cancel the online payment set for days later. I knew better but the lady so promised no problem. They ended up putting both through so now I never talk to these people---look up online complaints they are preditors! I've never gone 30 days late with these people but have heard stories of others making arrangements and having their cars repo'd so do not take chances. Thank God after the HSBC transfer they "lost" references and work phones! I have read on other blogs that once 30 days late they will visit your neighbors! Will call your relatives---even if you do make arrangements---they are like rabid dogs until you pay up---if you are buying a car remember that name SANTANDER and run!

- DaveHere's a good one...
I get frequent calls from Drive Financial for some woman I DO NOT know. I have asked to be removed from their list/records. I have placed my number in the National DO NOT CALL registry.
Now for the good part... I am an American, living in the Philippines! The number is my US SKYPE number. With a 12 or 13 hour offset, I get their calls in the middle of the night!
These 'people' are not very bright... but are VERY ANNOYING!- Caller: Drive Financial

- Gary J Waldronbefore Santander ever came along I was with National Preventiol who later merge with Abby National who were a Building sasioty (sorry if the spelling bad) Abby once had good service for many years and then in the mid 2000s Santander bought Abby thats were things were starting to go wrong when Abby became part of Santander, if I was at least 40 pounds over drown in my emergancey overdraft limit i'd be charge ok I thought i accepted, but in 2008 I found the Santander were taking my money out sum of 130 of which they had no right to, becoase I got fed up with them robing me blind I switched banks I'm now with Nat West and I am happy with them, now attempted close my account with Santander, but i still got letters claining I still owed money to them this year they are at it only this time they're ring me nearly every month I told them I'll pay 40 pounds every month if thats what they want they asked me will there be a chance I could increase payment I replied no becoase I am on low income so they set a spasific date on which can make my payant 28th of every month well becoase desided to pay week early they rang me again demanding I increase pay to 100 pounds I told them I can not do that I can only pay what can pay when told that already made a paymant this monthe (June 19th) they change the paymant date to that date, Santander have given me limit of Six month to pay it all up if after the Six Month they will put me on a dept collector, and that got me thinking are Santander tring to pull a scam or what are they take money out of my closed so called account and slapping charges i believe that if the person is no longer with that bank then they should not be charge it is time some out there investigted this matter and put Santander out of business

- Hugh MorrisThis is Santer calling you. They actually crack me up, i will answer the phone sometimes just to mess with the person on the other end. My wife traded a car that had a loan with another company that Santner purchased the loan from. The payoff was funded three days after the trade, (three weeks ago) So there is no loan payment to be made to the people as the car is paid off..with over payment because the dealer could never seem to get anyone to give them an exact amount. So I tell these people that i am her debt collection agent on this end and with their call to my phone (which is in my name, she is not even on the phone bill) That any info obtained from them will be used to collect that debt and I demand to know when they are going to pay it. I even went as far to ask the person for their banking info or credit card info along with their personal phone number so I could "collect" their payment on behalf of my client, my wife. I also tell them I am recording the call, they usually object to this and i remind them I object to them recording me also, so I guess we are even
These guys are real winners, they break every rule known to man. One they will use all kinds of different names and numbers to show on caller id..if you read the phone laws and the credit collection laws, that is illegal as heck. If you see Design Works by.....Or XO Interactive..it is these same guys.- Caller: Santer

- ambI do have a car loan with this place. But I think they just like to call to harass you because they can. My payment is due on the 23rd of every monthly. I set up automatic payments throw their web site, but starting 4 days after you made your payment on time they start calling for the next one and want to charge you $15 extra for the payment they want 3 weeks early. I have never been late with my car payment to them, so I don't understand why they do this. The only thing I know is that as soon as I can I will transfer my car loan to another bank. I made the mistake of using them because I needed a new car badly and fast, and they where the first one to say yes. I wish I would of waited a few more days to see what the other bank said.

- Santander=S American drug laundry| 1 replyI just got a car title loan from Santander on the 29th of Dec. On Jan. 2, a holiday, I received a call from 888-222-4227. The same m.o. A woman with an Indian accent in a call center started asking me about the car. Is it running? Of course. Then she starts asking about my employment. I stopped her there and told her I would give her any personal information.
I got rather angry with her (dealing with Santander was infuriating enough.) Why would someone call me from Santander four days after the loan was approved, and 26 days before the first payment was due, asking for info that I obviously provided them with just a few days earlier? I plan to pay off the entire loan before the month is up, as I'm not going to deal with these morons.- Caller: 888-222-4227
