Yes I called they tell you they are sending you a packet and you and your husband need to be at a place to attend a open house don't bring kids and you will get the tablet and yes two things to chose from a year to decide a airline trip or a carnival trip to the bahamas. Yes it sounds like a scam, she tells you must go that's how she gets paid and if you can't make it call her back so they can get another person in your spot.

If you go to the www.giftsbymonet.com website. Click on VIP and then on terms. There will be a paragraph titled 7" tablet. They actually want you to send a picture ID and W9 by mail. There is also that hidden little 50 dollar package activation fee. Shame! Shame! We all figured out the game.

I just got this letter yesterday, (addressed to my ex. who has not lived at this address in 7yrs)
Maybe their objective is to give you the tablet, then you use it by looking online, maybe purchase a few things with cc# or using your bank acct. then BAM!!  the next thing these people have your personal info.

    They need to be hung!!

Thanks so much for your advice, Windwalker and Eliza.  I called and let them talk to Mary on the speakerphone so I could listen.  The representative started talking more rapidly, like she was reading a sales pitch.  When she mentioned that this was from Global Vacations, I thought 'Uh-Oh!'   because the invitation said nothing about this company.  Then she proceeded to tell us that this was a sales promotion to introduce their vacations and that we would have up to a year to use it...  Right there, I shook my head.   Mary told her "I don't want it", and hung up.

What was this people say about things sounding too good to be true?

I received the letter for a "FREE Android Tablet Computer" if I fill out a Quality Scale Survey.

If it's too good to be true, it's not true.

Discard the letter and forget about T.J. Johnson and associates.

Dialing *67 does nothing when calling a toll free number, part of the contract with the phone company is to provide all numbers that call since the recipient of the calls is paying the bills.
