Called this number back and requested to be put on their do not call list. They were very polite.

I am so sick with these calls.They will get no more donations from me.If I do have money left from my small social security check,I will give to a local charity.The American Legion in your town always needs funds in order to help our heros(The veteran)

888-355-7209 American Heart Assoc. Neighbor Program as another poster said. I called the number back and asked to have my number taken off the list. They said OK. We'll see....

No answer, no message either.

I read from other posts that this is the American Heart Association. I am called continually from this number as well as three others that have been identified as the same organization. They are too chicken to leave a message.

A word to the wise: DO NOT GIVE TO THE AHA. Once you send in a donation for in memory of someone they have you. That gives them the right to call you five to six times a day as early as 7am PDT and as late as 9:30pm PDT because you have established a relationship with them.

I will never give to this charity again if this is how they spend the money they receive. You try to do good and they advantage of you. NEVER AGAIN!

It is the American Heart Association.  I spoke to them directly & told me to take us OFF THE $#$%@ list.
They stated they can call because they are non-profit etc etc.  Told them I knew the law but this is harassment & thanks to their incessant calling, we will NEVER give to that charity. Amen to that - what a shame they are doing this.

We recently bought one of those JFTeck $80 phone blockers.  Knocks out ANY so called toll free nomber including 800, 855, 866, 877, 888, etc etc.  Device is worth it's weight in GOLD, as we have not had an annoying call since we installed it, which is easy.

Please be advised that I have been receiving unauthorized harassing calls from the above number 888 -355 - 7209. When they call they are silent and reflect on caller ID unavailable. Who are They? WHAT DO THEY WANT? I am not interested in their business or services.I WANT THEM TO STOP CALLING ME IMMEDIATELY! IF THEY REFUSE THEY WILL BE FURTHER INVESTIGATED BY THE APPROPRIATE LEGAL AUTHORITIES STEMMING FROM THIS FILING OF COMPLAINT BEING REPORTED AS i AM REGISTERED WITH THE "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY"

Please have (888 355-7209) to STOP CALLING us at many hrs of the day and night (specifically within last week twice a day or more during the night)  I called them and they said they are a non profit organization (American Heart Assoc) and therefore able to do so at any given time?????  The person's name is Don Smith and when asked where he is located he said Dallas TX hesitantly of course???

They don't respond when you answer which is the most annoying of all.  That's why I finally called them back to see what their response would be.  They said they have to keep calling because we don't respond to their calls and can because they are a non profit organization?????

I called 1-888-355-7209 (American Heart Association) and asked to be removed from the call list.  The person who answered the call was very pleasant and took me off the call list, no questions asked. About an hour later I got a call from 1-877-213-2767 (American Heart Association). How many numbers do I need to call for you to stop these intrusions?

I did that one year.  Going door to door.  I  sent in my donation and what I  collected.

Some lady called me and implied that I didn't send all the money in................Never again.

American Heart Association calling from their THIRD toll free number to SOLICIT people to deliver letters totheir neighbors.  Their line goes like this: "Thank you for volunteering to help....the AHA" Or their other bogus line, "Your name was given by one of your neighbors to help us..."  Both are such outright lies; they should be prosecuted for fraud.  We've told them repeatedly to remove our number from their list because they are such outright liars, but apparently they believe that by calling from yet another phone number we'll be stupid enough to support them.  What part of "No, don't you comprehend?"  No, means no, we won't donate a dime, nor will we dun or solicit our neighbors. But we are documenting these calls and sending them to all our Congressman and Senators with a request that they extend charities, philanthropies and religious solicitors to the existing no call legislation. Besides, most of these so called charities exist primarily to pay the solicitors and little of the proceeds gets to the organization.  Don't believe me? Check out charitynavigator.com. Half of the populous would consider this harassment, since you continue to call even though no donation was given and the mere fact that your to lazy to leave a message.
Once upon a Time "No" meant "No", It did not mean for you to pass it off to another solicitor in order to get your Donation.
Funny Thing is, I never see you guys sitting outside in front of a store ringing a bell  trying to get people to make a volunteer donation where that they are not pressured into it just to get you to stop calling them
I pity the fools that do make a donation, because all this does on your end is to call these people back on a regular basis trying to get more money from them. So, Your Damned if You Do and Your
Damned if You Dont.
Try calling me Again, because my verbal attack against solitations normally detour you people from calling me the second or third time. I bet there is a list of do not call phone numbers you guys keep for people to never call back because of their attitudes ... Yep Thats Me and it works
