They call and say nothing, just have you answer the phone for nothing. This is very irritating to say the least.

Just got a call from this number.....don't recognize it & no name listed on caller ID so I DON'T ANSWER.  I see here that it 'supposedly' is American Heart Assoc.  Not sure I believe that with all the scams going around & if it is legit, then they would/should leave a message.  I won't be answering THIS call either.

If you have answering machine they wait and hang up after it picks up.  Then it places the annoying beep you get when you get a busy signal that goes on for minutes   Very inappropriate.

Same MO as others - calls EARLY in AM and as late as 9pm. 4 calls so far. Just auto dial crackle, no person.

8:15 AM on a Saturday morning!!!!  I scolded her & told her to call during business hours on weekdays.  Really.  We even support the heart association due to my husband's congenital heart issue, but not this early on a weekend.

received multiple calls from  866-211-1876 and 877-213-2767 and also 888-355-7209. no voice mails left--isn't this considered harassment and where can i go to file a law suit?

HAPPY NEW YEAR....NOT! This has been going on for over a month, seven days a week and 8am to 8 pm....complaints here go back to 2009 so I guess NOTHING CAN BE DONE!  I'm not young anymore and I just hope I don't fall trying to answer. Maybe cancelling my land line is the only answer.

NO, don't let them change your life.     I've just checked Amazon.com to see if phone call blockers are available in your corner of the world.   They are.     Plug one of those into your  line and live again - free of nuisance calls.   It is a wonderful feeling of freedom when you press a single button and just know that the number cannot get through to you again.

This number is calling all the time

Multiple calls every week - sometimes several times a day.  They don't leave a message - just keep calling.   Called them back and requested that my name be removed from their roster.  I was told it was done and actually received an apology for the inconvenience.

the 8883557209 isn't from the american heart association is is actually from Atena Prescriptions.

Certain groups like the American Heart Association are are exempt from the no call list.. There are certain devices and services you can pay through your phone service for nuisance calls that basically answer these calls and ask the person calling to dial 1 if they would like to speak to you.. Since an automated call can't understand the command, the phone doesn't ring and you never actually get the call.. If you are using an iphone or android you can actually choose to block the caller.
