How do I get this blocked?

This is only ONE of the American Heart Association numbers. The issue I have is that they phone and there is NO ONE on the line when you pick up the phone. The AHA is particularly rude that way. To get on their DO-NOT-CALL list, call them directly and talk to a representative. Just simply ask to be on their list. Now let me see if they actually stop calling. Of ALL the 800 numbers I get, the AHA is the most prevalent and they call under MULTIPLE NUMBERS, not just one. Please complain to the BBB if you are continually harassed by their no-answer calls, like I am.

Yep, this is about the 3rd or 4th number supposedly by American Heart Association I am complaining about.  If it is indeed from AHA, then they SHOULD have their name when caller ID shows up instead of 'Toll free caller' AND they should leave a message saying "we are the AHA and inquiring...." and then don't call back.  If the person doesn't call you back, TAKE THE HINT.

The Gov't money they get is ours.

I have been receiving numberous calls on my business phone from 8883557209, 8662742661 and others. No message left and when I call back I receive recording for 2008 American Heart association campaign.  This is my business phone and there is no one to answer this phone when they calls are made.

Apparently it's such a common problem, they have dedicated a way to remove your info - - -

These idiots have their computer make calls after they close. When pick up no one answers!

GET A CLUE, PEOPLE!!  NO LEGITIMATE CHARITY WILL HARASS THEIR DONORS.  THIS IS A SCAM ORGANIZATION USING A "CHARITY" ROUTE TO STEAL YOUR MONEY.  Get a number blocker and add all the numbers to it.  My calls have dropped from 8 to 10 a day to only one or two from them a week.  I will keep adding their numbers until all are blocked.  Do you really think a real charity will use such methods???????

Have asked this # and the other AHA #'s to take my name off their list.  Have continued to call for over a year!  Last call was 11 a.m. Sunday.  THEY NEVER STOP!!!  I NEVER ANSWER ANYMORE.

When I come home at night I check my phone to see how many telemarketer calls I get and then I look up the number on the computer and most phones now have a call block feature and you can block them from calling you.  How sad it is that people have to do this.   The telephone was invented so that family and friends could correspond to one another, not so that people can get harrassing calls from telemarketers or from so -called fake organizations trying to make a buck or deceive people.

I simply called number from my caller ID. When she answered she did not like my message.  Too bad.   I told her I was going to press stalking charges against her.  She said go ahead. I asked her if she believed in God.  I said it is Sunday so stop calling me, and that is when I really told her what I felt. She did not like it.  If you wanted you could call her all the time and tie up her phone so she could not call any one.  I only do that when I am in a bad mood and want to release my anger. I feel so much better after.

They just keep calling; even though we are on the list. I told them I was not interested.

I have noted at least 5 different 800 numbers from the Am. Heart Assoc.  Enough already.

Got a call from this number I do not answer, will not answer and for those of you who think it is The American Heart Assoc. WRONG! AHA never calls soliciting $$$ never! This is affront being used, Just do not answer and disregard the calls...they will move on...too  bad they cannot get jobs, misfits all of them!

ALSO ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST..If it really was the American Heart association....don't you think it would be identified along with the #....nothing to hide if Legitimate.Thinking just another scam.
