- Missy A.I record every call and send them to my attorney. We are going to collect from THEM now for violating the DO NOT CALL law! It's great -- the longer they go on and on, the better for me! Also, file with your atate's attorney general's office. Too bad they can't even speak proper English. What losers!

- MikeCareful, collectors CAN call you forever trying to get you to pay on the debt. The statute of limitations ONLY applies to legal action (judgement, freezing bank account, garnishing wages, etc.) So bear in mind that the can BY LAW continue to try to collect the debt but only have a few years in which to do so via the legal system. Check the laws in your state.
- DAVEANDJEANETTERcvd calls several time during day/week from this number. List on Caller ID as UNAVAILABLE
- SusanRecently, I contacted a lawyer to talk to him about the possibility of filing for bankruptcy after a mass of medical bills. He asked me if I wanted to have some fun... and that's what I've started to do: 1) ALW Sourcing LLC is a "legit" company, in that it purchases old paper debts for pennies on the dollar (These types of debt collectors are referred to as Bottom Feeders. More on that below). Anyway: it's required that you notify such companies in writing that they are violating the law in continueing to harass you by phone, so learn how to write an appropriate seize and desist letter, and happily let them know that you aren't "there" for them to harass anymore (and would be darn right cheerful if they continue because then you have cause for legal action against them that gives YOU money). ALW workers aren't... polite, not by a long shot, their trained technique is to try to bully you into giving them something. SO: Smile while you are talking with them and casually mention that you understand that they are a bottom feeder company (She almost choked to death on THAT statement and she hug up on me after being obscene). Play with these puppies, you'll live longer. If you don't have the $$, why try to be polite?

- joe publicI think these calls are coming from a scam company, IF they were legit they would be able to send the bill you owe by mail. These people can't even tell me what the debt is about.
- RosemaryGI got a letter today from ALW Sourcing,LLC in my previous name from 19 yrs ago for a debt from Stage.LOL. Well, I've never had a Stage Crdt Cd in my life and think this is pure halarious that they're 'fishing' for anyone to get money from. Hope they're fishing for the Attorney General to shut them down and quit bothering honest people.

- pattyI knew doing a search on alw llc would bring up something but not all this!
I called them on behalf of my elderly hospitalized parent. The message said to contact "Ron" etc, etc. So I called and a female said she would not talk to me unless I sent them a power of attorney. She gave me a fax number (12 digit number??).
I then asked her what her company was and she said she could not tell me without sending her a power of attorney.
This just started maybe about two weeks ago. There is no debt so obviously a fish scam.- Caller: alw llc
- frinkThese maggots are zombie debt collectors-- that is, they go after debt that you don't actually have to py, because it's expired. Ignore them and they will go away. That is, until they sell your debt to another bunh of leeches, who will harass you and then give up. Then they will sell your debt to an even lower bit of pond scum, and the cycle will continue pretty much forever.
- j scottthese people r sick just calling anybody makeing stuff up thast crazy they need to be stoped
- AI am getting a call from them on a daily basis too and it is really annoying me. This is my company cell phone and I do not owe money to a collection agency so I know it cannot be me they are looking for. I finally got ahold of a real person today and when I was explaining to her who I am and that I do not owe them money, she yelled and then hung up the phone. I am really concerned about who this is that has my cell #.

- N B TexasScam. I do not owe any outstanding debts. This is telephone harassment. How do they get around "Do not Call" list?
- B&JLast week I received an automated call from an 888 number telling me it was a debt collection agency. We owe nothing, so I ignored it. Today, Dec.7, I received another call simply saying "Call Ron Jackson at 888-379-4884." No preamble, no explanation. This time I took down the number. Of course, I am not going to call this person/company.
My ears were already pricked up when, last week, shortly before this first call, a sweet voice identifying herself as a representative of MY BANK, called to perform a "customer satisfaction" survey. I said, "I'm sorry,we do not do phone surveys," and ended the call.
What many people do not realize is that these "sweet young voices" can easily belong to naive people who are signed up part-time to do phone work and possibly by unreputable scam artists. I NEVER give out information over the phone. If it is legitimate, they can send me something in the mail. Even then, I am cautious.- Caller: "Ron Jackson"recorded message

- TimCalls began the day I got my phone. I have no contact other than by phone. Nothing in the mail. I have blocked the call since I answered it once and heard the recording. I plan to watch my credit report for something new just in case.
