- FinallyHappyI've been getting these calls for sometime now. I at first called, got an automated system, and never made it anywhere. So I just ignored the calls for the longest time. I finally called again, this time, went straight to an operator. The only info I gave her was the number being called. She then gave me a name and of course it was not me, so she has removed my number from the system.
Yeah!
I suggest you just call and hopefully you'll get a real person. - CueALW Sourcing is an offshoot of NCO Financial. NCO is a third party collector, aka a junk debt buyer. NCO buys charged-off debts for a few cents on the dollar and attempts to collect them. The accounts are often years, sometimes decades old. In many cases the contact information on the account is no longer valid. Explaining to these fine folk that the party they seek is no longer at the number they're calling does no good. Been there, done that. NCO, and now ALW, has been calling a line in our building several times a day, six days a week, for two-plus years. I don't know the prior history of the number, but it has been assigned to the emergency telephone in our 3 West elevator since 1976.
Note to DeAirra: When an agency collects a debt on behalf of a creditor it is called first party collection. A third party collector has purchased the debt. NCO seldom purchases portfolios directly from creditors. NCO is a bottom feeder, meaning that the debt NCO acquires has been written off by the original creditor and multiple intermediate agencies. NCO has a documented history of using illegal practices to collect debts. ALW Sourcing appears to have been created to act as a first party collector for NCO Financial. I don't see the point of that, other than to create confusion. The statute of limitation runs from the date of delinquency to the original creditor. NCO placing a debt with ALW does not magically reset the clock.
Usual disclaimers apply... I Am Not A Lawyer. I have done collections. Operators like NCO give us all a bad name. Learn your rights, Google is your friend. There is plenty of information on how and how not to handle debt and collections on the 'Net. Start with www.budhibbs.com and go from there.- Caller: ALW Sourcing
- jordan pacephone number left on voicmail
- annoyedjust file a report with the FTC and your BBB. or you can send a certified letter telling them to only contact you by mail. if they contact you after you send certified letter, legal action can be taken. The "do not call list" doesn't apply if you owe a debt because you've done buisness with them or one of their affiliates.

- Your Daddyyou guys should just about be bankrupt. None of these people are going to pay you anything. At least not the majority. You should go back through your numbers and examine which of them are business numbers because some day one them is going to pay you a visit for bothering them.
Since I cannot stop you from calling my number I am seriously considering spamming your webpage . You know there are people who are quite a bit smarter than you.
Take it however you wish.- Caller: ALW Sourcing
- collectionhatersI got 3 calls this morning, 10-09-09 within a 2 hour period. 2 of them were recordings, but not the same recorded voice and just said, this is a debt collection company attempting to collect a debt... the third actualy gave a name, Ron Jackson. All were from the same phone number 18883794884. I almost called them until I seen this website. When it hits my credit report, I'll take care of it.

- Capt. KeysyI saw an advice for a "Call Block Computer w/Caller ID & Ring Regulator"
After reading a dozen consumers reviews, this is my observations:
The above mentioned "Call block computer" requires you to enter in it, all the phone numbers you want to go through, as well as the ones to be blocked, i.e. only 20 to 70 numbers depending on the model.
I found another botherers trap, the TeleZapper TZ 900, to appear more simpler: all you need is hook it up to your line , it then will detect computers before ringing and will send them the code "Permanently disconnected number". It sells for $ 40 on Amazon; have a look at the users comments.
P.S. I am not related to the manufacturers or sellers of the above mentioned devices in anyway, and I just ordered the TeleZapper.- Caller: AWL Sourcing LLC
- Capt. KeysyIn my above post, I forgot to mention that if I have ordered this device it's due to the harassment of this Acorn "org" linked phoney company.
I encourage anyone to sue their [***].
Why not a class action against AWL Sourcing LLC ?- Caller: AWL Sourcing LLC

- QueenI think Those people who are calling should be prosecute by the government. They disturbed you after a long night of hard work
from your sleep. If so many people complain about them so much, WHAT'S GOING ON, WHERE IS THE GOVERNMENT WHO SUPPOSE TO
PROTECT US?
ARREST THEM PUT THEM IN JAIL FOREVER FOREVER.- Caller: POAGEORGIA-ALW SOURCING
- krstyI have been getting a call from that same number everyday. I had already called them twice and said they had the wrong number, and I was told I was removed from the directory. I wasnt. I did as a previous post suggested and told them I was recording the call. And reamed him out for a few minutes. He said they previously put a bad number in the system, but he would change it to unknown person. Beware: I called from a different number that I had blocked, but he had it anyway. They better not start calling that number!!!!
- dontcarei collect their numbers on my phone and store them under SPAM, and then assign no ring tone only vibrate. the vib goes off, i see spam and put it back in my pocket

- TO:krstykrsty, and all: just FYI, call block does not work if you are dialing a toll-free number. From what I understand, since those numbers are paying for a toll-free line, they are privy to the caller i.d. from incoming calls, even if you think you've blocked it.
