If you want the calls to stop then go to page 15 here and read my post on how my friend Dusty put a stop to it. These punks haven't bothered him since.- Caller: ALW Sourcing, LLC

- IOU replies to they're_legitThank you Mr. Ron Jackson or Wanda from ALW (All Lying Wackers) Sourcing for YOUR opinion of YOUR "business". You've certainly pulled the proverbial wool over all of OUR eyes. A*s whipes!!!
- IOU replies to Johnny B. Johnson"I had thE same problem of them calling me and being rude when they were trying to collect a debt from somebody I never heard of. I found this document online showing Home phone number and cell phone of the owner of ALW sourcing LLC. Just call him Bill if any of you decide to call him.

If bill is busy, ask for Kim Allen, his wife. But don't be TOO HARD on them people. Here's a list, OFF THEIR web site, of this couple's "CHARITABLE" donations:
•American Diabetes Association ($5000, 11/07)
•The Community Center ($1500, 9/07)
•Advocates (8/07)
•AIRS Homes (11/07)
•Maryland Center for Veterans Education & Training (12/07)
•Salvation Army (12/07)
Notice they did not include the amounts on the last 5 charities and NOTICE the dates of ALL their GIFTS, last quarter of 2007. I can deduce that either they are NO LONGER "CHARITABLE" or business is down. Could not happen to a nicer guy. Good luck, the irony of his parents naming him after his life's path, BILL (collector). LMAO!!! - Bugged every dayThe individual they claim to be calling is unknown to me. They have computer called twice a day for the past 2 months. I don't answer and they continue to call. I am also on the national no call list.

- Mr SpringSeveral calls from this number. Finally had to block the number. They are a debt collecting company and they are dumb as dirt. I have no debt, never have had any debt. I get calls all of the time about some woman with the same last name.....this company was the worst of all. Don't answer the phone, they will harrass you unmercifully even though the person they are looking for is not you.

- SarahALW sourcing calls me everyday atleast 3x a day regarding a credit card from 1997 that I dont remember having. I have informed them I am working with a credit counselor currently and they have informed me that any credit cards that are no longer on my credit report, DO NOT start or pay them off because 1. Its no longer on my report. 2. If I start paying or pay off something like that it gives that company an opportunity to report back on my credit report. It does more harm than good.
Now every since I explained this to them and told them I was not going to take the offer I now get a recorded message every day. They make me want to change my number!!- Call type: Debt collector
- LeeI'm trying their game. I'm calling them every day to tie up their lines. If everyone would do this, they won't be calling very many!!! Pass it on. If they call you, ask the person calling for their home & cell numbers, home address, social security number, etc. before you give them any information.

- ElleLook up the rules for collection agencies (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act - you can find it as a downloadable PDF document). Read Section 806. Harassment or Abuse. The things listed under Section 806 are violations. Paragraph (5) states "Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number." I think ALW qualifies. They never stop calling. I used the phone company's call blocking feature on them. When I later cleared the number, thinking foolishly that by now they would have gotten the message, the calls started again.
The next time they call you, report them to the Federal Trade Commission as being in violation of the rules for fair debt collection practices Section 806, subsection 5.- Caller: ALW Sourcing

- HF replies to RJ in MichiganAmen to that. They call all the time on my husband's cell phone but we don't answer calls we don't know.
Same with the home phone. We are not behind with anyone and haven't been for the last 13+ years so this is crap.
WE don't answer. Their dime. Just annoying. - PopieI got a call one day from this 8883794884, and a young lady said "Can I speak to my mother", and she told me that the young lady, was asking her about a debt she own back in 1999 for a credit card Sixteen 16. She told the lady, why, and she asked for her social security number, and my mother hung up the phone. These are some [***] [***] trying to get into scaming people.

- RobAnother thing you can do, if you don't want to call them and harass them, is purchase a Panasonic DECT 6.0 Plus phone. You can block up to 30 numbers. The phone will ring once or twice as it checks the block list, but if the number is in the list it will send out a busy signal and then disconnect. Whether you call them and harass them, or if you block them, it cost them each time they call you or you call them. Make them pay. My friend called them for 2 hours straights and harassed them, that's 2 hours of abuse that they have to pay for. They begged him to leave them alone and removed him from their computer system. Blocking them will cost them but not as much as engaging them, but you don't have to take this from them.

- Meredith LyellMy mother received a letter from this company and has been receiving phone calls every morning at 8 a.m. claiming she owes 500 dollars for the City of Richmond. She is 80 years old and in frail health and I am taking over her personal affairs. They say they need her permission for me to deal with them and wanted to talk to her. Needless to say, I'm not letting them do that.

- annoyedjust got a call from these yahoos. I immediately copied some of the great info from here and turned them into the Fed DNC complaint registry (I turn in all scam callers). You can always tell a scam company... they tend to use 888/866 numbers. Like others have said, real debt collectors would notify you by mail or at least be slightly professional. I just let it go to the machine. Barely could understand the twit.. very garbled. Like anyone would be stupid enough to give out their real social security number to them. I wish I knew how to forward calls like these. One guy on another site had somehow sent scam calls to other scam calls... too funny! Send them to other scammers or to the FBI!

- NicXclusive| 1 replyI get phone calls from "ALW Sourcing" about 5 times a day - nothing but voice automated machines telling me to call back this specific number and ask for this specific person. Now, this has been going on for several months now and I have no idea why they keep calling me. (They call so much, that I've just grew to block it out.) From what I've researched on this company, they don't seem to be so legit for the amount of times they do call. My assumption is they are some sort of bill collection agency - but what for? I'm not sure. And, from the research that I had condone on this company, now, I don't trust to reply to them - primarily, because they do not seem legit. I'm all of a sudden afraid to give them information they do not need, if they are not behind any type of real billing complaints, etc. I mean, if anyone could correct this matter and tell me otherwise, then maybe I could see myself complying to their requests. Other than that, I see no reason to comply. I do not need any more problems, or in this case, people taking my money for which it does not belong.

- still laughing. replies to NicXclusivethese dumb [***] called me about a debt from 1988. for 16 plus they had my maiden name. I asked the lady if she was aware that the debt was 23 years old. There is a little thing in this country called statue of limitations and its 3 years for credit card debt. And it only starts over if you agree to pay them or send them over. Then your debt clock starts over. I told her that we had just gone through a similer case that was only 5 years old and we won. So if she wanted to waster her time and money taking me to court for my lawyer and the judge to laugh in her face then go ahead. Then I gave her my lawyers phone number and address and told her to call him about it so he could laugh in her face. She got really mad and said just because its been a long time doesn't mean you don't owe the money. And I replyed with oh yes it does the statue of limitations has gone by about 6 times. Leave me alone and call my lawyer. I waited about two days and calle my lawyer and he said he didn't get a call from them. So people out there check the statue of limitations in your state I live in va and like I said for credit card debt its 3 years if they can't collect in that time then they are [***] out of luck. Good luck and hope this helps someone.
