ALW Sourcing is Pond SCUM they are a scavanger collection agency trying to collect old old debt that no longer is reportable.  Send them a Cease and Desist letter (many ex on the internet) certified return reciept...they will still call and are in violation of FDCPA at this point you can sue in small claims $1,000 per violation.  They are Federal Law Breakers and need to be reported to the FTC, your States Attorney General and sued.  Any one who works for ALW could not get a real job, has very bad credit themselves LOL and most likly a drunk or druggie.

It's a scam.  I don't owe anyone.   No debt except  utilities, which are paid as they are received. It's just a Big Pain and a worry

They've been calling and leaving messages for months - today I answered the phone, a person asked for me, and when I said "speaking" they hung up.

What morons.  I can't even imagine what or whom they're trying to collect for.

Tape recorded message saying I owe a debt. They would not tell me the name of the company I owed the debt to and I have not received anything in the mail saying I owed anyone a past debt. I called the number back and no one answered my call. I value my credit rating and I check it often. If I owed someone a past debt, it would show in my credit report. This is a scam and I encourage anyone not to give this scam artist any personal information.

well,i get this call frequently on my voice mail at work, i dont owe them anything, and they keep calling and leaving messages, can't talk to a real person.

I have had several calls from this company.  I finally called back and told them that I do not owe anyone anything and have never failed to pay anything and they are certainly calling the wrong person and to take my number off their list.  We shall see if they do.

This co called my parents ( both over 80) in FLA.  They do not have caller id however they retrieved the nbr to call from the msg. and I , ( their daughter in TX)  called that nbr. to find out who it was and why they kept getting these calls.  The female that answered told me it was ALW Sourcing, LLC ; I asked what is that ? She said ' a collection agency'. I asked ' What does ALW stand for q' She said 'It's William Allen , the owners name spelled backwards.'  I asked where they were located ; she said ' Baltimore, MD.  I told her that there calls were bothering my parents who have never have and no reason to be contacted by a collection agency.  There was a code given at end of msg, which I gave to her and she looked up the file with their phone nbr also.  She said they were calling for a David [***].  I said ' There is no David [***] and we do not know a David [***].'  - ( I think this also happened with same name last  yr!)... she said she wld take my parents' phone nbr off the list and that it shd never happen again.  FYI, when I googled that name ( David [***]), there were many results and I wasn't going to pay for a bkgd search -- what a hassle! especially when they prey on the elderly!   BEWARE EVERYONE!!

Apparently I'm not the only one getting harassed by these jerks for a non-existent debt.

This number has called my mother's home for a week and is very nasty and rude.  They say they are trying to collect a debt for 1999.  He tried to verify my social and I would not.  He asked if I had children and what there names were.  I told him it was none of his business and he told me I was sorry for not paying my bills and hung up on me. The man on the phone was very rude and I hope they are out of business soon!

These calls started about a month ago.  It was once a day, now it is 2-3 times per day starting at 7:30 am (which is illegal) and one call was at 9:25 pm (also illegal).  I've never called them because I don't owe anyone anything.  I'm glad that I checked online first before I did try to call.

1st of all dumb [***] this is america, u just don't borrow money from creditors and not pay it back b/c its 7-10 yrs down the line guess what they can't pursue legal action, however they do have permissible purposes to pull your credit and be listed as an inquiry every 6 months which takes your score down at least 2 points. Also, those collectors are legitimate, treat them like humans and they will do the same to you after all they are just doing their job, unlike most of you which got ya'll into this situation. i guarantee if u try to sue you won't make out save your money and pay your bills.

if they r calling your home for the wrong person just pick up the phone and say wrong number stop catching an attitude how are they supposed to know that they have the wrong number unless you say something retardo

I too receive these calls...a recorded message...debt collectors! the statute of limitations is 4 years. YOu do NOT have to pay anything...you must NOT admit to these charges or the statute will begin all over again.  I just got a new cell phone last night and the first dang call I got was from ALW...I don't want to even call them back

i think the comments from debt free and kim are truly representative of how intolerant debt collectors can be. My wife and I work hard, pay the bills that come in, and try our hardest to put money aside. Sadly, illnesses and other events in our lives have put us behind in game and we're trying like mad to get above water. The only time we've dealt with debt collectors we've encountered abusive bullies who feel that it is easier to come out aggressive rather than civil. Usually poorly spoken and not willing to work with us to solve any past debts we have. We'd like to set up payments, however they usually ask for ALL or at least half right away. If we could, trust me, these payments would have been dealt with a long time ago.

Left a message to call about a debt.  Returned the call.  Said the person had given them my phone number.  Said they would correct it, but called again.

They are legit. I have dealt with them in the past.  They don't usually leave a message but if I answer I speak to a person.  Don't have to deal with them, debt paid off but just letting everyone know, they were legit for me.

These people have been calling continuosly and it's the same message recording over and over.  I don't owe any debt and I'm sick of the phone calls.  Thank you for posting these comments so I know I'm not the only one!

When we got a new phone number it previously belonged to someone who racked up large amounts of debt resulting in lots of collections calls.  I called 877-ALW-LLC1 (the number from their website) and actually spoke to a person about receiving the automated calls and had them remove my number from the calling list.  The calls seemed to have stopped.

I have recieve several phone fron this company.They are asking me to give them all of my credit numbers.how much do i owe. That they would like toconsolidate all my credit into one low monthly payment.For a one time fee of 439.00 Also they would need myc hecking account number.
