I just got a call from this number, Verizon reminding me of a past due bill. I do have a past due bill so this call seems legit. But it is very annoying that it comes up as "Unknown Caller," why not just say Verizon? I get so many telemarketers and political calls on this house phone that I never answer unknown calls. If it is a legit call, it should look more legit, they are blending in with the scammers by doing this. Some of these other posts have me worried that maybe some other company has access to my info and is trying to trick me into paying them instead of Verizon! I'll pay my usual way on Monday, not paying over the phone to some unknown entity.

Ditto Susie - I am still recovering from bi-lateral hip surgery and with the hospital and other services needed for this surgery (co-pays for things I wasn't aware of) my bills have had to take a second seat.  I am paying but not when they ask.  Thanks for the info.

How about you lay off the alcohol... why would a cell phone company be calling about a bill if they are not the wireless provider of the person they're calling?  I've been getting emails from these scanners and phone calls about a bill when Verizon is not my wireless provider.

He's probably sober now as it's almost 2 years since he posted.

Verizon is NOT my service provider...

Left a message saying it was urgent. Called Verizon and they said they had no record or no issues with either one of my accounts. They normal would not do that.

Pranksters, Studio Gangsters!  I called back from my work phone, and the recording asked me to enter the # I was calling about.  I said, "I Don't Know."  Then the recording told me "Thank You" for calling Verizon about the account information you entered!!!

This number called my cell phone 6 times in one day. I put them on the reject call list...Problem solved. Anyone who calls that much and doesn't leave a message is obviously up to something. #SCAM

I agree this is not Verizon. If was Verizon the would turn off you service until you pay it. They are just trying to get your credit card info.

They called both my landline and cell.  Never leave a message on cell, and I always ignore it.  Left a message on landline, and claimed being Verizon.  When I called Verizon, they had no record of ever calling me.  I have no billing issues with anyone, nor ever had in the past.  This is obviously a scam.   These calls are getting worse and worse.

I receive my SS check the 3rd Wed of the month but my Verizon bill is due on the 12th. I asked several times if they can move the due date back to a couple of days past the 3rd Wednesday. No. It is impossible for them. However, the last time I called to complain the CS ended up giving me a $5/mo credit for a year to offset the late interest charge.

It's an automated voice claiming to be verizon and to call as it is urgent. I called verizon both fois and wireless and both said that is not an actual verizon number linked to their company and to not call it back or give out any personal information. So total scam, beware!

From previous messages posted on this website, it appears to b Verizon, however, when I picked up the phone & asked who is this, no one answered.

I keep getting this call on my sell from Verizon about my bill.  I DO NOT HAVE ANY SERVICE WITH VERIZON and neither does anyone else in my house.  There is no prompt available to talk to someone.  How do I get off this call list??

Viewed  results  of  others  who  received  a  call  from  this  number.  I  am  not  with  Verizon  and  have  never  been.  No  reason  to  ever  receive  a  call  from  them.  Please  put  a  stop  to  this  immediately.

Keeps calling and doesn't leave message. I had paid my Verizon bill last week.
