I have asked them multiple times to stop calling because it is at least once every couple of weeks.  They just called again today.  They make me nuts!

I was getting calls from Lupus Charity Pickup as the caller ID almost daily, always at dinner time, and never picked up.  They would stop for awhile, then after a month or two start up again. answering and asking them to stop accomplished nothing. I read these posts, trying to find a way to make them stop for good. I tried a different tactic; I called the local Lupus affiliate.  The lady who answered sounded like they get a lot of calls like mine, was very curteous, asked if the callers were harrasing in any way, and took only my phone number (not my name) and assured me the calls would stop.  Time will tell if this works over the long term.  But if nothing else has worked, it might be worth a try.  The national website has a link to the local affiliates.

I have asked them several times to take my number off their call list and they still keep calling.  Sometimes they call 4 & 5 times a day if I don't answer the phone.  How can we MAKE IT STOP!!

I hope they enjoy the imaginary pickup I just sent them on. I told them if they kept calling I would start playing along w/ fake pickups. Guess they didn't listen

Just to follow up about writing to the local chapter of the Lupus Foundation - IT WORKED!  

No calls in over a month.  And as an added bonus, I just got a letter from the local Manager of the Lupus Foundation, Inc. that said, "I am distressed to hear of your dissatisfaction with the calls you have been receiving from the Lupus Foundation Pick-Up Service.  As you have requested, your number has been removed from our calling list.  While we feel that the work of the Lupus Foundation is worthy, we repect your wishes to not be called upon to donate again.  I apologize if we have caused you any inconvenience."  

So, to stop those Lupus Foundation calls for donations, don't bother complaining to the people calling you.  Go to the source.  And look forward to enjoying your dinner hours in peace.

Lupus pick up for clothes call to many times

They've called me a few times and leave no message so I ignore it.

They have never called me looking for money.  Just clothing donations and I regularly get plastic bags from them in the mail.  I fill them with clothes I don't need, I get a receipt when they pick them up from my front porch, and I use it as a tax deduction.

You whiners and complainers are looking a gift horse in the mouth!!!!

They say they are lupus foundations 4 pick-up or just hang up. Caller ID SHOWS lfa pick up ser.
Can we as a group sue them TO STOP THIS?

I have asked numerous times to be removed from their calling list, yet they consistly call!

Says lupus foundation and asks for my address..yeah, like I'm gonna give my address to some butt while over the phone.

I wonder what they would think if I put my trash/garbage out in plastic bags for them?

On my caller id it says lfa pickup ser--they call me every few days-they don't leave a message-I don't answer

They call and when we answer the phone no one says anything.

Thanks for the information.  I have Optimum Voice but I never knew I could block calls with it.  I just blocked LFA and am thrilled.

Continually get calls from this number.  I have been on the "do not call" list for several years and want this organization to stop calling me.

They call several times a day  and leave no message. I want these calls to stop.
