- Carolyn replies to CarolDid you go to the meeting?
- Mary replies to JKI got the same letter in mid July with the telephone number 888 405-1099. The call dates are between July 1st and July 17th to qualify. Sure it is a scam .
- Connie replies to JKI got the same letter. Totally agree. It looks like they have been at this for some time.
- gskuc replies to jkJust received a "notice" from the "Resort Notification Department" that I owed some unspecified amount of a "maintenance fee" for my timeshare. Problem is I DON'T OWN OR PART-OWN ANY TIMESHARES IN FL! The business address is 801 Brickell Ave. in Miami. and phone number is (877)458-7397. If you call the number, you get the runaround if you say you're not a timeshare owner.
- mattielol - i got the same "courtesy only for select group of owners and call between July 1 and July 24 to qualify" -- i agree with the earlier posting - ANYTHING that comes from FL is a scam! I've had several bogus offers coming from FLORIDA. "Resort Owners Association" is too generic a name anyway - PLUS - yes, they bought a mailing list because my name is not even close to being correct!!!! it is a 'safety' name i use to protect my identity! hahahahaha
Please don't fall for this!! - alabamagirl52 replies to JackI got the same letter today from Resort Owners Association but with the phone # 888-615-8708. Can you opt out so you do not get anymore of these letter?
- Jat| 2 repliesSame notice but new # (888-313-3404) won't tell you if they are buying or renting just taking care of your fee and everyone depending of ownership is different. I asked them if they had a magic wand! LOL
Like most it is a waste of time. Best way is to just sell your timeshare on your own.- Caller: resort members association

- Patty Ann replies to LynnI have been thinking of listing my timeshare on Craigslist as well. However, i never know how much to charge for my rentals. Could you give me some advice on how to decide the amount i would charge? I have looked on E-Bay, but the rentals seem to go for so little. Any suggestions?
- Patty AnnI am very happy to see that there is information on this website regarding this company. Received the same letter yesterday, however, the phone number to call is 888-313-3404. Mailing address the same as others have mentioned. Meeting to be at the Courtyard Marriott in Ocala, FL. Of course i am doing my research because i am suspicious of this caller. Will be cancelling my appointment. They always say, if it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true. Will look to rent our timeshares out ourselves which we have done in the past. I've never seen one company have so many phone numbers. That makes me suspicious right there. Thank you for your input everyone.

- toots replies to Jat| 1 replyJust received same "courtesy only" notice in mail today, August 1, 2012. Return address is same as most (3208 E. Colonial Drive, Ste C 306, Orlando), but phone number is 888-313-3404. Just like some of the others, we do NOT own ANY timeshares ANYWHERE. But, we keep getting messages on our voice mail regarding this stuff, and now, this notice in the mail. I called the number just to request that we be removed from their contact list and to inform them that we have NO timeshares, and a man with a Spanish-sounding accent said "Oh, let me transfer you to our mail service (or something along those lines) to request being taken off our mailing list." After being transferred, a recording came on saying something about being removed from the list and proceeded to give me an email address (timeshareremove@gmail.com) in which to make my request, or that I could leave a recorded message after the tone, but to speak very slowly, giving the name and address which was on my notice (which was addressed to my husband). So, I did that, but then decided to check out this email. I just hope the phone number I called wasn't one of those kind in which you can be charged a lot of money for it on your phone bill. I regret calling that number now, but I was tired of being contacted about this stuff. I just hope it wasn't a phone scam.
- Mitzi replies to Walter GonzalezI also recieved a letter from these people and I have never owned a time share or have evr been in a meeting to buy a time share,I think it is a scam and what bothers me is how did they get my information? And who do I contact to find out.I called the # to ask and they just want more information that I refuse to give.
- Ellie MacMillen replies to thinkerI called today, and they denied to me that they charge a fee for renting or selling my timeshare. Instead the gentleman came up with a different story, and wouldn't even answer my questions. I know they do charge as I have looked into this before. They come to our area every 3-4 months. When I figured it out, by the time I got a lawyer involved, it would have cost me more than I had paid originally for the timeshare. Yes, it is a scam, as far as I am concerned.
- dubious replies to tootsI got a notice of an increase in timeshare maintenance fees. I don't own a timeshare. Notice went on to say call 888-841-2378 to prevent this fee increase. I Called and was asked if I own a timeshare. Why would they send this notice to non timeshare owners? They're crooks trying to scam people into sending money.
- Susi replies to tonoAfter you paid them RMA $2000 did they take over the title to you timeshare?F
