These people from Scotia bank are so annoying, they call relentlessly and haven’t stopped even though I have complained many times. It has now caused me to acquire temporary ‘Turrets syndrome’ when I call them back to complain, hopefully they will get the message this time and remove my number.

    I got a call 2/16/13 @ 2:22pm and again today 2/21/13 @ 8:23pm.
I haven't answered at all and no voicemail either time. I don't know why Scotiabank would call me.. I don't have an account with them. I do have a scene card but I don't know why I would require a phone call about that for any reason.

Scotiabank.  They call all hours during the day and night.  They are trying to sell you services! Really are they that desperate for clients?

I don't have an account with them and get a call every other day lately which I don't answer. I agree with the person above that it's SCENE card related. I'm sure their privacy disclosure probably says something about sharing our info with select partners and scotia is a known Scene partner.

There is no exemption for companies you deal with. However there is an exemption for financial institutions, such as Scotia Bank.

I keep getting called from this number. It is infact scotiabank.  I asked to be put on the no call list, but they called back. I called customer service and was told the no call list stops canadian scotiabank people from calling you. This number is out of a call center, somewhere in washington or something, therefore the no call list doesnt effect them.

It was Scotiabank to offer me a pre aproved credit card because I have a Scene movie card that is affiliated with them.

It's calling me everyday now but when I pick up, there is no one on the other end.  If this is Scotiabank or their affiliates, why would you be stupid enough to harass me everyday trying to sell me same thing and when I pick up, it is dead silence too?  If this is scene.ca related, I just unsubscribed everything. Hope it works, but I doubt it.

This number calls constantly at all different hours and
days.  Could not get off the call list so I assigned a silent ringtone to it and problem solved;)

I receive a call from this number every evening for the past few weeks.  When i answer the phone and don't say anything I don't hear any sound.  That leaves me to believe it is an auto dialler.  If I say hello, a man  comes on and says they are calling to thank me for my business with scotia bank and asks if they are speaking to *My Name* I ask them "what is this about?"  They says they need to confirm my identity.  I hang up since this is obviously a scam.  Any legitimate bank that urgently had to talk to a customer would leave a message asking you to call them.
