I have asked them not to call me and they still do. They call on Saturdays and when you call them back its closed?. I have already complained to the DNC. My next step of action is to call them on Monday and speak to a Manager and tell them to stop all calls or formal action will be taken place for harassment. They have no nature to be calling me. I have no business with them.

Attention all smartphone users, your device has a reject call list. Add this number to your list and even if they attempt to call it will be rejected therefor not interrupting your day.

It is from a third party company that Scotiabank HIRES to telemarket for them.  Very annoying.  They Lie and claim not to be a telemarketing company when asked,  but claim to actually be Scotiabank employees.

Scotiabank doesn't give a crap because they still get thousands of gullible people willing to give personal information, apply for credit cards,  buy unneeded insurance, etc from an incoming blocked caller ID name.

Complain to Scotiabank. 1800-4SCOTIA Tell them to get a legitimate company to market their products. One that will honor the do not call requests  and not LIE to people in an attempt to make a phone sale.

At least ATB takes these liers seriously, after all they are hired to represent the company's products and services.  

I just googled the same damn number, and was brought to you. I have been getting these calls as well, but you should know that I do not believe it is Scotia Bank, as I asked some of my family members who work for Scotia, they told me that Scotia does not call regarding such matters. Most importantly, I do not even use Scotia Bank. I'm terribly sorry that you had to go through this headache, and that it even affected who you banked with.

Just scream (very long & as loud as u possibly can) into the phone.

Get calls from this # up to 3x/day with no message. Am wondering who or what company keeps calling? Scam?

Seeing how I have no business with these guys and are not even from a country where they do business.
And seeing the complaints here and the response of the bank on twitter.
I can conclude only that's its a scam.

They are out on your Adres and credit card nummer. Data they already should have if you are a costumer and things you should not share over the phone with unidentified receiver. So it's highly likely a scam
