- Well informed replies to COLLECTOR GODIf you are a debt collector then you must not have anything better to do than respond to people on here. First of all there are laws that protect the people AND yes if your calls are recorded and they request that you stop harrassing them, you must do so or be sued. Just like you people the consumers can record the calls as well and use them in a court of law. Furthermore by you being a third party you legally cannot demand any monies nor can you place anything on anyone's credit report because you are not the original owner of the debt. Even if you purchase the debt you have no right to place that debt on a credit report. The information must be validated by the original owner of the debt and once they sell the debt they can no longer report the debt on someone's credit report. The debt must also be validated by the original owner who probably don't keep records over a year or so and if this information cannot be validated by the ORIGINAL owner it cannot be placed on a credit report. You have these people fooled by the verbiage that you use. Well here is something for you: FDCPA Section 809. Validation of debts [15 USC 1692g]
(b) If the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period described in subsection (a) that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, or that the consumer requests the name and address of the original creditor, the debt collector shall cease collection of the debt, or any disputed portion thereof, until the debt collector obtains verification of the debt or any copy of a judgment, or the name and address of the original creditor, and a copy of such verification or judgment, or name and address of the original creditor, is mailed to the consumer by the debt collector. Oh and one more thing...................
TITLE VIII - DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES [Fair Debt Collection Practices Act]
§ 803. Definitions [15 USC 1692a]
As used in this title --
(4) The term "creditor" means any person who offers or extends credit creating a debt or to whom a debt is owed, but such term does not include any person to the extent that he receives an assignment or transfer of a debt in default solely for the purpose of facilitating collection of such debt for another..................You are not the creditor. You are totally the loser. - Jen replies to deshaI got the same call from Jacob Goldstein just a few days ago...They called my work..don't know where they got my work number. He wasn't mean or anything, he just stated that I owed this debt and they needed a payment in full or to make arrangements to pay it off and after paid in full they would send me letter saying paid in full. I set up payment arrangements but i haven't sent any money yet.....If anyone has info on this company please put it out there for us so that we can resolve any issues...
Thanks - citizenI am tempted to locate these folks down and administer some good ol' fashioned "roadside justice." That would be more satisfying than going through the hassle and expense of a lawsuit. They hide their criminal activity behind the veil of legitimate collection statutes. Vermine who prey on weak or uninformed citizens should be dealt with in a manner befitting their crimes. Just wishful thinking, I guess.

- jay jayHey i got a voicemail from these people asking for me or my friend to call them back within 24 hours. Why are they asking for both of us? I don't have any debt, and i haven't taken out any loans. I don't know about my friend, but can they do that? Call someone and act like you and your friend owe something.

- nikkiI got a call very rude and i ask what will happen to me no anwser just hung up on me so i call back
told me if i call back they will file charges on me - NA replies to COLLECTOR GODYou'd think that being a collecter you would have a much better demenor. Even on here, I can see where most of these people are defently telling the truth. It is amazing the lows that colelctors will bring themselves to in order to get a payment. In my experience being kind and understanding to people help to make a result. Not by being demanding. I have also recieved some calls, calls that are exactly the same. It's amazing that all these people are lying yet, they all have the same story and live miles and miles away from each other. So.. from now on, when my phone rings. I will hit record. And give notice to the person on the other end that this call is being recorded. And we will see who the lyer is!

Rude is a understatement I sent there info to the FBI and to Jacksonville Police, I hope they get caught.
- Anna WanderlustIf they call you again, just say "Stop kidding around Peggy" and laugh like hell. Just like the Discover Card Commercial. They really hate that. Moreover, they really hate it if you keep calling them back and say stupid things, you know, like they do when they call you. It's all stupid and, might I say, illegal as hell.

- YOU WISH YOU KNEWThese people called me today. He was extremely RUDE!!! He called and started rambling off and didn't let me get a word in. He asked if I was aware what I did was not a misdemeanor and serious action would be take against me. He read back all my personal information. He said I was being served here at work at 1pm and further action would be taken against me. I eventually hung up on him since he was so rude! My co-worker called the number back and the "collector" hung up on her when she asked him what did this company do/represent? She called back and was very calm and nice and again, the "collector" wouldn't answer her questions, cut her off, and put her on hold, and never got back on the line!!! She investigated this for me and found interesting information on them. I am glad she did. Now reading all this, I know it is a scam!!!! Everything I am reading is exactly what I went through today which is not a good way to start off my day!!!! He said if I attempted to contact the payday loan site, I would be admonished for harrassment and intimidation. REALLY? I will be contacting the payday loan place and verifying if this company is legite and let them know I will give THEM my money, not this HP & Associates.

- Mandy replies to COLLECTOR GOD| 1 replyWhat you said is complete b**l s**t! You call and harrass anyone who answers the phone if it is the person you are calling for or not and I was given my FULL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER by not just one but three (3) different individuals from your company and I may not even be the person you were originally trying to contact. You people are beyond rude. Are you on a multiple floor building? Why don't you go to the roof od the building and jump off?!?!?!?!?!?!
- Mandy| 1 replyThis number has called a privately owned business and has been harassing whoever answers the phone stating that one of their employees is “in big trouble” and “must call back with in 30 minutes or else.” When I called back to find out what it was that they needed, as they would not leave a company name or what the phone call was in regards to, I was passed around to 4 people (each of whom were very rude and harassing) who said I had a title loan that I “bailed out on” from Ace Cash Express, that I owed such and such amount, and they gave me 3 separate times my full social security number over the telephone. I could have been anyone returning the call stating I was the person they were looking for and they would have just given my social security number to anyone. Other than that information they refused to give me anymore information, when the said “loan” was made, the make, model, year, plate number, etc. They had my full SS# and some other personal information about me so I said, “Since you obviously have all of my personal information why can’t you give me more information in regards to this debit.” Instead of helping and giving me more information about the vehicle in question they badgered me saying, “You don’t remember walking into Ace, filling out a bunch of paperwork, and giving them a title to your car?” I told them that I had not been into an Ace in many years and then that was only for cashing an IRS check and I had no outstanding loans with anyone. Again I asked for more information about the vehicle and he refused to give me anymore information about it so I hung up on him but before I hung up I told him, “I can’t help you if you can’t help me with more information so that I can further look into the matter.” He then refused again so I hung up. That was 3 hours ago, I’m waiting on them to call again. In the mean time I’m reporting this company (to which I STILL did not know the name of until I found this web page) to the Florida Attorney General’s office. Wanda B’s report below was VERY helpful and has all this companies information you may need when reporting them. My call was from Mr. Eric Ross X.145.

- Lillian Jones, of The LULA MAE FoundatioClients received a call from this 9044185000, she said that they indicated that they were a debt collector that they continue to have her on hold, then hung up the phone. We were given authorization to handle this company and they refused to cooperate and not give me any information regarding their company. I called 6 times attempting to obtain contact information to establish legitimacy and this Ray Buchannon would not cooperate; so we had the clients to see what it was they wanted and they were asking for our client's ssn and we refused and he refused to give me some information on his company. unprofessional, attempt to intimidate, and those type of people you would love to find and snap their neck, Ray Buchannon is a coward and I wish to me him one day.

My 2011 is paid, my brand new home is paid (2 years old), my 4 month old swimming pool is paid, so why would you call me. How did you get my phone number? Any who? I became suspicious when I received a call along time ago, and now we help others my friends and I especially those that don't know or have the means to be taken advantage, so god collector and you need to stop making it appears as if these people are you, yourself.
