I called CIBC, after receiving a call from these #905-297-4280.
Her answer was," there is a campain for credit card insurance at this time,
located in onterio.
She did not know of the number (905-297-4280)because CIBC hires this task out.
Being in vancouver,is why she was not privy to this info.
My name has been removed from the list, and she took the number to have verified a fraud or not.
It is tele marketing.

i got a call today from 905-297-4280 but i did not answer, and they left no message, i returned the call and got a voice prompt from canada premier life insurance to remove my number from their call list,of course it takes 30 days....I started a new job a few weeks ago and signed up for the company insurance and i figure this is how these guys got my #.....

I picked up the phone, a girl just asked "are you marry?" and then hang up.

Possibly to do with CIBC Visa card (trying to sell insurance perhaps?), call me around 5 times a day to my cell phone, i never answer and they never leave a voicemail message. Anyone know how to get them to stop??

This # is a [***] loser, tell them u r interested and immideately hang up thereafter ROFL, when they call again u r still interested and u hang up, way to abuse scammers

Just call back, press 1, punch your number in, and you'll be removed within 30 days!

Called me, no voice on the other end. I said nothing else, hung up.

They called me once, wasnt there to answer so i guess it kept ringing, didnt left a message.

They called again and they said it was for a CIBC credit card special feature blablabla... i told them i was at work.

Assurance Vie Première du canada (General Legacy) when calling back. If you call them back, they have an option to remove your number from the number exclusion.

I got at least 20 phone calls from the number and one day I answered the phone and said don't call me back again. They claimed themselves as CIBC and ask my personal information. I tried to call back the number and realize the number is from Canadian Premier Life Insurance Company. Anyway it's good to hear that they are under investigation. Just add the number your phone list as SPAM and simply don't answer it.

CAlls at least 4 times a day   never leaves a message

It is a hoax, do not try to remove yourself from the call list by giving your number.  These people call me once a week...

really i do not understand what type of call is that since 3 weeks bothering me even no voice message.

WTF is wrong with them. They're calling every day, twice a day. I have never picked up because it's my cell phone and since I don't recognise the number why bother with wasting my airtime minutes! They NEVER leave a message, those silly [***]!

Since I have never spoken to them, I don't know what they're calling about but it's really annoying! Has anybody here successfully removed themselves from their list after 30 days?

Have had several calls from this number over the last week. They call morning noon and night . It needs to stop . What is the point in putting your name on the DO NOT CALL list if these ignorant people will not abide by it. DO NOT CALL means DO NOT CALL MY NUMBER .
