Getting constant calls of silence from 9052974280. I stop whatever I'm doing, paying prompt attention to the phone that's ringing to be greeted by this bull sh*t. This is the reason North American society is going into the toilet - there's too many dickwads looking to make a living through trickery and quasi-work. I answer dozens of [***] driven 'I want to sell you this swampland' calls per month, and for this *I* hand over fistfuls of money to my phone company, maintaining their and the sweatshop caller's employment - in other words, just like the monies you hand over the government, who pretend to give you service in return. I wish I could build an Ark and get this place flooded, because the world's just become too f*cked up. Take care.

If I lived in Ontario, I'd drive to their offices and kick some ass.

Calls several times a week, but no answer who their are ?. Annoying..

Just another telemarketer "working on behalf of CIBC" to sell you insurance. I just told them for the 5th time to take me off their list and not to call anymore.

Since we are in Montreal, they first called in French and asked for my wife, who doesn't speak a word of English. It only took them 2 months to get an English speaker (hence the Toronto number) to call. And they just keep calling and calling and....

they keep calling every day- and I noticed now occasionally a 604 297 4280 version calls as well.

If this is a telemarketer I am on a do not call list and will report them

We get calls from this number every once in a while. They ask for a specific person (usually whomever's name appears in the phonebook for our house). I always tell them to call back in a few hours but they never do :] They don't even introduce themselves either. Just: "Hi may I speak to _______"

I have been getting calls from this number as well. IT IS CIBC. They are offering life insurance. i called them back and put myself on the DO NOT CALL LIST! Hopefully they dont call again

This number keeps calling us all the time and the #905 297 4280 and when you answer the phone there is no one on the line until we start saying hello hello then someone comes on and the first thing they start ask ing is ,for your banking info. I had enough of these annoying pests hassling me!

WEIRD - they call me every 2 weeks...Tuesday late afternoons for the past couple of months...except, today is Wednesday and they called (thinking because Monday was a holiday??).  

Today, I picked up and hung up immediately....usually for annoying telemarketers and numbers that I don't know that continuously call and don't leave a message - I pick up, put the phone on mute and wait....no one ever speaks.

I'm liking one idea that was posted on one of the earlier pages - *67 first, call the number and do an annoying loud hang up on them...like the poster commented...revenge is sweet.

As some people have commented that this is CIBC - remember this for any company that calls and wants to confirm your info with you...DON'T GIVE THEM DETAILS.  

Years ago, supposed CIBC continued to call me, telling me that they needed to verify my info and asked me to give them my address, birthdate, etc.  I told them - you are the ones calling me looking for info, why don't you tell me what my address and birthdate are....there was no response.  Incidently, I did not deal with CIBC whatsoever, didn't have a card or acct of any sort - just remember this when anyone calls you - if they want info, tell them to confirm your info with them - if they don't, they are unreputable.

got a call from them, i didn't pick it up since i was driving, good for me.

I called CIBC and asked them to take me off this calling list. The provided me with the number of their marketing company and said I should call them and ask them to take me off their list. This is the number they provided: 416-391-2362

I hope this works for everyone else too.

Please cease calls immediately.

They are Scam Fraud  who try to find out your Credit Card's to charge them  with whatever Reason.
Called today my House claimes they are CIBC and offered me an Insurance.
After I asked for an Phone No to call back cuz I was busy they  hang up asap.
I called CIBC after to confim if this Phone call came from them and they said noone called .
So don't give them any Information they are fraud and nothing else.

Please let me know who this is. Number keeps calling and hangs up, no message
