My 13 yr old daughter received a call from a movie producer asking if she'd like to be in a movie.  She hung up.  Only her friends and family have her cell phone number

just got a call from this number maybe 5 minutes ago. didnt pick up and they didnt leave a message.

I got a call during school and almost got my phone taken away.  They didn't leave a message and at first i thought it was someone from my area code.  Now that i actually looked at and googled the number,these guys should really be shut down, or someone should at least pull something like this on them.

some idiot said he wanted to talk to me about the velvteen rabit, he would not tell me how he got my cell. said he was from a call center in logan utah. this must stop.

Man by the name of John called my daughter in the evening and at school. finally i got the number and spoke to him directly.  said who are you what are you what do you want? he would not give a last name i said do you have a webaddress? so after he hung up i typed up bbb and got a contact name Ann Church Sr. VP Marketing 505-989-8076 (telemarketing) I have every intention of calling them and emailing and speaking to bbb tomorrow am. and take my 11 yro daughters phone and register for do not call.

Got called at 8:28pm PST.  Looked it up.  It's a NYC area code.  Missed the call and tried calling back.  Called my best friend.  He got a missed call from the same number at 8:21pm PST.  How the hell are they getting the numbers of me AND my friends?!?  What the hell!?!

Got this call but didn't answer. Now I'm glad I didn't. We're on the national do not call list. Die, bunny.

My daughter and I both have been getting calls from this phone number to our cell phones.  We do not answer as we do not recognize the number.  Glad we didn't.  They are calling us at least once daily.  We are also on the Do Not Call list for home phone and also our cell phones.  Don't know where they are getting cell phone numbers from, but I sure don't appreciate it.  Will report them to the FCC.

Just got a call from 917-210-4609. I did not recognize the number so I didn't answer. If it is important they would leave a message. They didn't leave a message so I called the number back. Some guy named John answered and said something about asking me 3 questions. I stopped him told him I wasn't interested and take me off the call list. Then I googled the number and found this site. I just filed a complaint on the donotcall.gov website. Maybe it will stop.

Interesting. It appears they are targeting cell phones... same story here as most of you. Very annoying.

I don't like to answer numbers i don't recognize, but my kids picked up the phone and handed it to me. Luckily it was just some guy telling me about a family movie coming out in the area. Not trying to sell me anything.

I got a call from this same number. When I looked it up, I got this info:

I contacted Global Crossing, since they are the provider, and advised them of their client's illegal calling. We'll see if they give any sort of response.

I just called Verizon and gave them the number and blocked premium texting on all of our phones... they can charge you from $.99 up to $9.99 a month for sending you premium texts about movies. Just a little FYI. Verizon said they will credit my account if a charge goes through for this month and after this month it will just be blocked and we won't be charged.

Also, the original call we received was a recording from "John" and no matter what we said, it asked for more information and in the end said they would send a text. Hrmph!

Got a call from this number; didn't answer it.  They didn't leave a message.  I'm glad I didn't answer it and waste my minutes on my cell phone.  I hope all advertising doesn't come to this.

I received a call tonight at 6:52 pm (est).  How is this group getting cell phone numbers?

Feb 10, 9:38 am I received a call from this number, which I did not answer and no message was left.  I am on the do not call list, and this was my cell phone, which I get charged minutes for.  I agree that this needs to be looked into.
