I'm with Cingular Wireless (they won't block the number unless you pay extra $$$ for a service...go figure!  Somebody obviously stole a wireless #'s database.

got a call this morning at 10:20am..they hung up when i picked up..how did they get my cellphone number???

I just left a nasty message on their answering machine telling them that they're breaking the law and I'll never watch the movie...and I'm on the "Do not call list".  PLEASE EVERYONE CALL THIS NUMBER AND TELL THEM THAT YOU'LL CALL THEM EVERY TIME YOU RECEIVE A CALL FROM THEM.

Took me just a few minutes to file an FCC complaint against this number using an online form: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

REGARDLESS of whether you're on the DNC or not, companies are not supposed to use autodialers that result in you being charged for the call (I got the call on my cellphone).

Turns out there are LOTS of reasons you can file a complaint against a telemarketer, even if you're not on the DNC registry... more info here: http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall/

They must be targeting by area also. Posts just made are for the same area (Atlanta) that I am in. Got the call on cell at work, before I could answer they hung up. I am a AT&T customer.  Our numbers must have been sold. AT&T is working both sides, charging us and selling our numbers for more $$ to them. What a bunch of BS.  Then they will charge for blocking the number? More BS.

I just got a call from this number on my cellphone. I'm at work so I didn't answer, I was going to call back thinking it might be a friend of mine from Manhattan, I'm glad I looked it up first!

Got a call from 917-210-4609 today, 2/20/09, didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number.  When I got concerned it might have been a friend from New York (that's their area code) I tried to call back and got a fast busy signal.  I checked out a link above for the movie details and saw that Domino's was advertising the movie...I'd be willing to bet they are giving out our cell #'s...like those annoying calls I used to get telling me about their specials from some automated system.  Ugh! I hope someone sues!!

I'm in IL and I received a call from this number earlier today. I filed an FTC complaint.

Received call from 9172104609. I answer Hello. Hello? Hello? with no immediate response. Then an echoed response came back Hello Hello Hello Hello Hello. I waited then call disconnected. Just because of this type of crappy advertising, I would never never ever see this movie and I will discourage anyone from seeing it.

i ask to be placed on the no call list and they contrinued to talk over me. this is a cell phone number that should not be called and is not published.
