- TracyThis "John" is from Feature Films for Families. I've gotten calls from them for years, promoting family-friendly films (something I personally wish we had more of). I used to buy from Feature Films (16-19 years ago), but do know that they have always been extremely persistent about getting contact info about friends/family who may also be interested in purchasing family-based movies. Only recently have I gotten the "recorded" version of the phone solicitation... I just called this number (which showed as a missed call on my cell phone while I was at school), and sat quietly, curious at "John's" response to my silence. The recording started over, with some word changes... "this is not a sales call... I only want to take about 40 seconds of your time." When I never replied, the call simply disconnected. I have no idea how they got my cell number either.... very aggravating!

- AnonymI just received a call from 917-210-4609 about 10 minutes ago. I checked the number, found this site, and read several comments about the caller. I have been on the DNC registry for over a year. I am an AT&T cell user and I have registered a complaint.
- Breaze1969Got a call from the 917-210-4609 number also, but did not get to it in time to answer. If John does call back I will be sure to call him by his first name, tell him why he is calling me and let him know he needs to google his own phone number and get the insight that I have. I am also on the do not call directory and I don't like these phone calls especially when I am at work on my cell.

- JoshGot this call today. Being that i'm int the DNC list, I tried to think of how they got my number. I recently bought a car and applied for a loan. I also applied thru lending tree. This is the only recent time my number could have gotten out. Anyone else do something similar?
- Jonesythe company that made the movie is family 1 films. The movie looks like it belongs on Lifetime or straight to video. Basically CRAP. Why don't we send unsolicited email at them or call them or otherwise annoy these [***]. See how they like it. Let's see if they like the taste of their own medicine.
