interrupted speaker to ask questions, after long pause question was answered in same voice. When asked where they were  located they said  Utah.
When I asked a more difficult question a different voice with a definate accent
responded at first but then hung up.

This site is great.  I fumbled my phone and hung up by accident. Just wanted to know who this number was. Thanks guys.

called me yesterday, showed up on my phone as "new york", didn't answer it as I have no friends/relatives save one in NY and he would have left a message. no message. glad I didn't answer it.. I have ceased to be nice to unsolicited telephone calls.

I too have had John call me. Not once, but twice in one week! The first time I told him I was too busy to talk and I hung up, the second time I answered it and hung up right away since I recognized the number. I'm having the number blocked and confirming that my cell phone number is on the do not call list.

I recieved a call from this number about a movie that is coming out sometime this month. IT was nice to finally get a call where they really weren't trying to sell me something. They just wanted to let me know about the movie and that was it.

These morans called me last night and the same thing happend. I'm on the DNC list and will be reporting them to the FCC

Got call from this number 917-210-4609 something about a movie lasted about five seconds. Don't understand how they get numbers from personal in law enforcement.

I just got a call fromt his number two minutes ago.  When I answered no one was there so I googled the number and I got this webpage.  I can't stand telelmarketers, that's why I don't have a home phone anymore.

Just got a call from this number (2:20pm 2/12/09)ON MY CELL PHONE!! Same story as the rest, Movie Producer hocking The Velveteen Rabbit. Told him I wasn't interested and he said he would call again later. I too am on the Do Not Call List.

I'm on the do not call list and yet they are trying to sell something.   Wheres the FCC?  Didn't they make the "bail out" list?

I just got a call from this number too. I live in TN I dont like getting calls like this on my cell.....

I received the same call (2/12) and it was the same guy, John. I hung up once I figured out I didn't know him.



HOW ANNOYING.

My hubby got the recording call this afternoon.  We have all our phone numbers on the DO NOT CALL list.  I went to the Federal Trade Commission's website and filed a complaint.

Go to FTC.org to register yourself on the DO NOT CALL list.  While you're there, don't forget to file your complaint against the jerks.

received a call from this number earlier today.  Didn't recognize it so i just called the number to see who it was. It was some movie producer trying to advertise a movie.  I said I wasn't interested and hung up.  how did they get my number?

There is no information about a new release of The Velveteen Rabbit on IMDB.  Scam.  Send them a car bomb or something.

Phone call from number at 7:20 PM Pacific time in Oregon. No recording or voice on other end. Returned phone call to number. Spoke with "John" who wanted 30 seconds of my time to ask me three questions. Told me that he was with movie and "Kids First." He apologized for the inconvenience.

Call them back at 917-210-4609, wait for the automated message, enter ** to get to a menu, or enter ## to leave a message. I left a message telling not to call me anymore. Oddly, when I call now, it no longer answers :(

Hung up as soon as I answered.  Of course, I lost a whole minute of the minutes I buy every month for that.  How are they getting cell numbers when I'm on a national do-not-call list?

Got a call from this number--I did not answer it b/c I did not know who it belonged to--googled the number and found this site--I am registered on the no call list for my cell phone--don't understand how they decided to call my number !
