They won't stop calling, even after I asked.  Now, when I answer, I wait until someone comes on the line & blow a police whistle into the receiver until  THEY hang up.

Is writting all these complaints going to have any repurcussions on this company?? How do we stop them!!!

calls day and night, every day for months now.  I have caller-id, so not answer, there is never a message left.  Who and what is Effective Teles?  This should be stopped.........

I get a call several times weekly and when I answer the calling party hangs up, when I call back I get put on hold and the call is never answered.

calls are from AT&T (selling U-Verse) i have called them back and was assured my phone # will be put on their "do not call" list which may take up to 30 days to go into effect

Caller ID Effective Teles #936-568-8951 has called me 10 times in two weeks
and if I pick up the phone they never speak or answer me! I can hear what sounds like
a busy call center in the background.
If this is ATT - I already HAVE ATT - so what are they calling me for when they won't
speak to me when I do pick up!

the phone company who sponsors this number is responsible for allowing this scam type behavior to continue...they must be making too much money from 'effective teles'...they are the ones who should be sued...

I think the root of the problem is thru Com***t for me, I use them for phone service and elected to not pay the $1.99 to have my phone number unlisted. This is how these telemarketers got my number and call all hours of the day! Save the headaches and frustrations and pay to have your number block.

I checked their website:  Effective Teleservices, We Play by the Rules.  Right.

I get calls several times a week from them, no message, no response, just background noise and laughter.  Play by the rules?  Hardly.  Like so many others on this site, my number is on the DO NOT CALL list.

Consistent phone calls from Effective Teles at 936 568 8951.  I also am on the DNC list.  Usually do not answer it..few times I did no one picked up.  Wonder what Co. sold them my number?  How can I get off their list?  I too cancelled AT&T & also got on the Teleius web site.  Are they the culprits?  How do I find out?

I too get numerous calls from this number....tried to call back last night and was put on hold with music and the "your call is important to us"  held for 15 minutes and was finallly diconnected...

they have been calling 2 0r 3 times a day when I answer they hang up tried to call them back to request they stop calling my number.
