I received two phone calls from a certain Bob Jones #409-299-5078 and 401-369-9204 and he left me a message to call him at 1-866-994-0381.  I returned the call in two occasions - the first call went direct to his voicemail..then led me to someone else.  When I received the second call today, I tried to return the call, went straight to his voicemail...then someone picked up the phone, her name was Tammy...and the "ladidadida" went on....she said she was going to send me an email and that someone from my State will be calling me for a possible job match....Tammy asked me if I had money from my retirement...I answered I don't, but my husband has...she said she was going to send me an email link..in a short while..that link, I will have to fill-in my information within 24 hours, at no cost at all...after the 24 hours, the link will just shut down by itself...don't know if I would take my chance....

I asked the BBB to do an inquiry on them.  Here is the BBB's response:

"Thank you for inquiring to the Better Business Bureaub about Work Save Retire.  The bureau has reason to believe that the company makes it seem like they will give you free software to find a job but really want to “get their hands on” your 401K funds for reinvestment.  They are a functioning business, however, their tactics seem slightly misleading. Work Save Retire, LLC is run by WSR and Associates. Here is the link to their full report:

WSR does NOT recruit a job for you. They are NOT a placement firm. They offer an EXCELLENT resume builder and a GREAT way to search all those job banks with one search that ALL OF YOU search individually. For those of you that have a 401K that needs to be rolled over, they can offer ADVICE to you as to what options you have. THERE IS NO cost for any of this to you. You are NEVER forced to purchase ANYTHING! You have NOTHING to lose and everything to gain. You do not have to go anywhere to talk with the recruiter or the financial adviser as the recruiter deals via phone and email to assist with your job search and the financial adviser comes to your home to meet with you to listen to YOU and what you want for your retirement. They then go put a financial plan together and return at a later date to share with you their financial advise. YOU make the decision to roll over your existing retirement plan/401K....

    So what is wrong with:
    1. Better way to search for jobs (even ones that you NEVER FOUND before)
    2. Free Advice to retirement - moving your 401K or other retirement plans.

WHERE IS THE SCAM??? WHERE DID THEY ASK YOU FOR ANY MONEY???

    Additional Notes

Complaint Category: Sales presentation misrepresented the service

Complaint Resolution: Company addressed the complaint issues. The consumer failed to acknowledge acceptance to BBB.

That is the report from your BBB link.....Report seems to be FAKE being the person that made the report didnt follow up afterwards....

the Better Business Bureau, along with the Federal Trade Commission, suggest that you:

Be suspicious of any employment-service firm that promises to get you a job.
Even if employment service firm guarantees refunds to dissatisfied customers, check on their reliability with outside sources like the BBB or local consumer protection offices.
Do not give out your credit card or bank account information over the phone unless you are familiar with the company and agree to pay for something. Anyone who has your account information can use it to take money from your accounts improperly.
Get a copy of the firm's contract and review it carefully before you pay any money. Understand the terms and conditions of the firm's refund policy. If oral promises are made that do not also appear in the contract, think twice about doing business with the firm.
Follow-up with the corporate offices of any company listed in an ad by an employment service, to find out if that company is really hiring.
Be wary of firms promoting "previously undisclosed" federal government jobs. All federal positions are announced to the public.
Check with the BBB to see if any complaints have been filed about a company with which you intend to do business.
There are a variety of free and low-cost resources available to help you in your job search, including local and state government job service offices, the Internet, local libraries and universities and community colleges.

The scam is that they are misrepresenting themselves. They are not calling about your resume or any specific positions that they have available. Instead they are trying to get you to go with their financial advisors and will offer you the software to help you in obtaining a job using databases that are NOT with their company, but databases available for public viewing if you took the time to search the internet.
When I told them I was happy with where my 401k was and inquired about the specific job they had searched Careerbuilder.com about and came up with my resume, they brushed the question aside and kept focusing on trying to get me to move my 401k to them.
That is the scam. There is no job they are calling you about in regards to your resume.
The calls I'm getting are from a guy named Brian (who's also never available) from the number 800-240-7712

Bob Jones left a message yesterday. Talked to a woman today and when she said it was a download, it sent up red flags!!!! It is probably a trojan horse of some kind. I asked her if it was a website or a program and she told me it was a program. Don't know anything about them, but sounds VERY suspicious since as soon as I told her I didn't trust her, even though she sounded very nice on the phone, she said she would send me an email so I can contact her if I interested. She also told me she got my resume from careerbuilder.com they should change the name to criminalcareerbuilder they have so many scams out there. The phone number was a local number, but her accent was either Canadian or Northern Plains states, MN or WI perhaps.

Work Save Retire is a scam! They say the recruiter will help you find a job but you have to meet with their retirement consultant first they keep in contact with you until you meet with the adviser and then poof they disappear and you NEVER hear from them again! The recruiter I talked to had NO idea what she was talking about as far as my career path! They are only after your retirement! If you roll over money with their financial adviser the adviser gets a portion of that money and then work save retire gets a portion!!! THAT'S HOW THEY GET MONEY FROM YOU!!! they say they will never charge you any fees but in actuality they are taking money from your retirement if you roll money into their company!!

Ya, just talked to them too. The Financial Services is what their interested in selling. They sent me the email with the gadjet. I don't think I'll be installing that on any machine with any personal info. BTW I ran their number , from the email signature, in the lookup on this page, came back invalid? Whats up with that?

Got a message on my machine that said "This is Bob Jones and I have some questions about your resume.  Please call me back at 866-994-0381".  Very strange since I'm not in the job market and not sure where they got my resume. A legit recruiter would leave more than that as a message plus follow up with an email. I did not call back.

Someone in TX replies to Richard
This is a scam because I was told that they wouldn't connect me with a recruiter until I met with a financial advisor by the name of Richard King. Be careful because this company is using careerbuilder.com's database to get their leads.  All successful financial advisors I know work mainly by referral, not via cold caller.
