- Bill Spencer| 1 replyGot a call from Kevin same message as listed prior. Called from a 480-718-0546 phone # to call back at 855-866-5768
Appears they use masked phone #'s from around the country, more than likely google voice #'s and redirect router lines.
Don't waste your time with these people. I can tell you I am on 1 and 1 only job board.....

- Dan| 1 replyThey called me and I had their rep come to my house to review my financial plan. There was no pressure and he told me my plan was sound. He was very polite and I have not had any other calls from them. The resources on their website are excellent and I have used them to develop my resume and prepare for the interview. It cost me nothing but an hour of my time.
Before you label something a scam, do some research. They are a business after all and offer to sell financial services in exchange for providing the best employment resources on the web. I don't send me three emails every day telling me me resume sucks and offer to rewrite it to $350.00 like most of the other sites do.- Caller: Work Save Retire

- Gia replies to DanI got the call today. The problem, Dan, is that I need a job, or I will be homeless at the end of this month. What little money I had in my retirement fund has been used to keep a roof over my head for the past 3 months. I have ONE CENT in my fund. So, someone calling repeatedly to offer me financial planning when I eat one meal a day is just wrong in my book. My resume is posted to find me a job, not to give some company leads to make money while I worry about whether I will have enough money to rent my apartment another month. I have a BA in English and an HR background, so I know how to write resumes, thank you.
- TimI also got a call from them yesterday. Seems good at first, honest, but the more i thought of it, they scare me. Another evil act of the devil out there trying to do something evil to people in this world. Thanks for all the info on this site, and I did not act gullable, and do something stupid.

- ApplicantI have received the same call. Twice, last week and once today. I tried to look up phone number which was I found out came out of Allen, Tx. I called and asked what company this was that had just called me. Then, I told her I am at work right now, and she said to give them a call back before 4:40pm (which is when they close, she said) Anyway, this number came up as 972-649-0677. After looking at these posts, I will not be returning their call.

Scam preying on the unemployed.- Caller: Work Save Retire
- Call type: Telemarketer
- BruceThis company seems to be expanding into different markets. I got a call from 281-667-0427 that following the same script. It was a company that said they did employment recruitment, but as the call proceeded, it turned into some kind of pitch for handling my 401K/Retirement account. I spent 18 minutes on line with them, told them I wasn't comfortable with the switch from recruitment services into a sales pitch, and they hung up on me. I would be very suspicious of calls from this number.
This kind of company is deceptive. They are preying on those who have lost their job, dangling one kind of service (Job Recruiter) just to hook you into their 401K program. I can only imagine what they would do with your retirement if they ever got hold of it. - TrishFemale asked questions per job search & education purposes. She stated she found my information through a Recruiting Service. Caller ID showed up as South Carolina and # 864-932-4109. I returned the call to find out it was a not legit number.

http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/la-business-bur ... 13#.T3TAfdmiZsQ - stayawaySeems they are only after management of retirement funds. A small company in Minnesota is not going to be able to help you with your leads in your locale. Start with local recruiters first and network with all your contacts. Notified website where they grabbed contact information that they were in violation of terms.
They are rude and will hang up on you.
Read this (incredible story):

http://www.bbb.org/minnesota/business-reviews ... sen-mn-96155482 - Tony B.I got the call form the number. I told them that being that I was unemployed I would not be able to move any money or transfer anything at this time. The recruiter said that is fine and no need to meet with the retirement planner. I will see how it goes.
- Ken Sullivan replies to keister50| 1 replyIf this fraudlant outfit now goes by the name WorkSaveRetire;
Let me assure all here that this company is, in fact, a SCAM. They are NOT recruiters!
Here is the deal: These folks use their "career services" as a front in order to get a financial product salesperson in their "clients" front door to pitch them various annuity plans. In order to access their "career tools", you must agree to this meeting.
What does a job seeker get in return?: A thirty minute webinar, access to a very limited board of job postings, and some additional tools and "services" that are very generic and generally available elsewhere. One month later, and after my annuity sales meeting, I am still waiting for a phone call and my personalized job referrals. I won't hold my breath.
This outfit is a joke that takes advantage of today's lousy employment environment to sell their products. This is a sales company NOT a career service. Don't waste your time with Heather and her crew.
I will be rolling-over my wife's 401K into an IRA next month, probably into an indexed annuity, and I can assure you that this $140K will not go into one of this company's products.
I will be filing a complaint with the BBB in the morning.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

312-965-3023 - Tom replies to keister50I met with Chris King here in Arlington, Tx this morning to discuss my financial plan. He seems to be completely legit. I met with Jim Sinz yesterday as well as attended a webinar hosted by Heather Wellington, all seem legit to me.
Tom - Mike replies to Ken SullivanKen. First off. There are additional webinars beyond the introductory one you attended. Perhaps you should spend more time on the website. You'd see that easily.
Secondly the job search engine is connect with dozens of job boards. But more importantly company websites as well.
It's obvious you have not taken full advantage of the outplacement services. It's easy to see why would think these things given the fact you put little effort into utilizing everything to its full potential.
You still have full access to the site and software. Perhaps after attending some additional webinars and talking with your career coach you will be able to understand the value.
We are a small firm. We cannot promise the same results as larger firms. But what we lack in recruiting we make for in outplacement.
Either way I wish you luck in your job search. We'll be here if you need us.
