I put this 9544147313 in my REJECT list in my cell phone.  Also,  the text from GIFTCONFIRM.COM with return phone number just 448-47. I put it on the BLOCK LIST.  On the OPTIONS on your cel phone while VIEWing this message or phone number, add to REJECT or BLOCK list. So far so good, no calls or text.

Got a call from here.  It is in FL.  They are at the least selling tricks, magazines and such.

I don't answer numbers that are not familiar or "Unknown"... This number called me yesterday but just once, no voicemail.  I am hoping this was the last time, since I cannot block numbers from my cell phone.  (which SUCKS)  I just have it in as DO NOT ANSWER so I know it's the same number if they call again.

Received two calls from this number on my cell phone. When I answered there was no one there.

I just recently receive this message about ten minutes ago and it stated to get your free gift go to giftconfirm.com send txt stop 2 quit, help 4 help. What kind of scam is this and it needs to be reported. These are some very sick people, that's is very immature.

I got this same message and hung up also about magazines and cruises gift certificates. I immediately hung up the phone. I also started receiving different cards in the mail with my name on them. When I called, they asked for bank routing number, checking account number, and they asked me to fax social security numbers, photo ID, birthday, to their fax number. About a week ago, I got an email from Dell department saying they was trying to contact me because I won one million dollars in European money from James Campbell. I mean what is European money got to do with the United States? They sent numbers that they had drawn which match me something like a lottery but fake. I also received this postal envelope in the mail with the same information. I sent an email to Delldepartment101@yahoo.comhk, malito. The email was sent back because it stated the Yahoo email doesn't exist. I knew this was a scam as soon as they said I won one million dollars.

I got a text saying I won a $1000 gift card from Best Buy

They did the same thing to me too! They asked me how old I was and I told her, then it diconnected.

I received a called around 8:15 in the morning on my cell phone.  Hi told me I won a $1,000 shopping spree. He told me what my address was. When I told him I have no idea what he is talking about, I dont recall signing up for anything online, he hung up.

called me said i won 1000 on the internet this morning. i wasn't on the internet in the morning.
was drivin said he would call back .not going to answer.

I got this same call.  They said they had my number but the wrong name.  I talked about if it was a scam or not.  The man I was talking to was very nice and explained that they were the agency for this online company.  I work in marketing and this made sense to me.  Anyway, all they asked was my name (which I just gave them part of), occupation (which I lied about), and address (which I sort of gave).  They said the the $1000 gift card would be in the mail and that is came with magazines, etc.  When they told me the magazines were something like $3.80 a month I said I would rather not have the magazine.  Then the guy was like, "wait, you are saying you don't want any of the magazine" and I said "correct - I don't want to pay $16 a month for that."  Then he hung up.  
I don't think they are stealing identities, honestly.  They can't steal your identity with a phone number and address..that's in a phone book and tons of public records!  I DO think they are trying to scam you into buying magazines.  That was the obvious tipping point and seems to combine all of the stories I've read about this.  I would answer the phone and request to be removed from the call list.  Good luck!

I have been getting these calls for over a week...My phone rings once and they hang up.. the couple  times I did get to answer I got told the same thing as Jesse, and then the next times following it I get told I won 1000 dollar shopping spree,and if I want to buy magazines  and then they hang up...I have heard it under 3  different names... qotient corp and money savers....

I posted earlier... I did more research that might be useful.... They are from the Fort, Lauderdale area.... The company name is  Pactec Communications In.
i am going to see what can be done cuz I am past this being annoying...

I also received text from 44847 on Nov 29,2010 for a free gift. Whats with this and who can I report to in order to stop this?
